Owner of the "Xiaomi Mi 11 Lite 5G Dual SIM (8GB/128GB)" since November 2021. After 1.5 years, I can say that I am satisfied with this purchase at the price of 300 EUR. I wouldn't pay more because I see it has gone up to 400+.

Design: elegant, slim, and lightweight, sometimes it feels like the wind could blow it away.

Durability: I haven't dropped it in water, but it has survived falls in general. I have removed the case because I like to enjoy the phone as it is. The back is almost impossible to scratch unless you do it intentionally. I still have the protective cover on the front, which is still almost like new.

Battery: With daily charging and regular use, it still holds up very well, and I have a 90Hz refresh rate, mainly in Wi-Fi mode (data always consumes a lot). Maybe I got a good model; I rarely use power-saving mode.

Photos/Videos: Don't expect much indoors, but it is decent. I have taken some amazing photos outdoors, especially portraits, which made people ask me what phone I have. Lighting plays a significant role, so I can't put a negative on it. I haven't worked much with video, but it is average. TIP: go to the camera-video mode and on the top right, there is the symbol "X". Select 4K, and you will get much better videos.

Cons:
a) The fingerprint sometimes doesn't recognize after 1 year, but not to the point where it bothers me.
b) I have noticed that the Wi-Fi slows down a lot when the router catches a 24Mbps line (meaning it gives around 12 Mbps). I don't have any issues with a 100Mbps line, where it reaches 90-100 Mbps. I'm looking for a solution before doing a factory reset, which is a good idea anyway.
c) Slow restart.
d) NFC - after a recent MIUI update, it stopped working, resulting in me being exposed and unable to make payments. I made some fixes that I found on the internet, and it started working again, but then it broke again, and I fixed it again. However, since then, I don't trust it, and I always have my card with me just in case.

In short, it is worth it for normal use, but not for more than 250 euros (because it is now an old model).

The evaluation is made with full awareness of the product's capabilities.

Terrible black indeed.. I have been a Xiaomi mobile user for years - even before it came to Greece as a company, I used to buy with a foreign rom. Coming from the mi 9, I was very disappointed with this one. I believe that in order to excel in processor and cameras (it has the mi 11's macro on top of it), the lite series lags far behind in terms of the quality of other materials. As other users have mentioned and as happened to me, the side button stopped working completely, so I can no longer boot! The screen, without having the automatic feature, started adjusting brightness on its own to a higher degree than what you are allowed to adjust from the bar. The charging port also broke due to frequent charges over time, as it does not have a good battery at all! I always have it on power saving mode. The icing on the cake was recently when the network stopped working with any sim card I put in. Completely dead. From what I read in forums and reviews, many people have the same problems, which means that the model did not turn out well or had many defective batches. Of course, I would not recommend the device, it's better to go for something else!!!

After three months of owning this particular phone, I have only negative things to say. The battery doesn't even last a day with simple use (the only good thing is that it charges very quickly with the fast charger, but if you try to charge it somewhere else with a regular charger, it takes many hours). The camera, no matter how many megapixels it claims to have, takes terrible photos in general and only mediocre ones if you have the phone completely still somewhere until it focuses 2-3 or 5 seconds later, by which time you may have missed what you wanted to capture. The screen already has lines from the middle downwards, and the contrast is very poor in the sunlight no matter what settings you use. Some of the features it has only exist to say that they are there, but they don't work properly, like the screen recording, which loses so much quality when you try to record from a video you're watching on the internet that you can't even tell what you've recorded, as if the video is in fast motion. The screenshot function doesn't work with many applications, unlike other phones. Opening two applications simultaneously freezes it incredibly, and it doesn't work for all applications. Additionally, in the second space, the screen recording doesn't work at all (it doesn't even exist), opening two applications works even worse, there is no app clone feature, it takes a long time to send you notifications from the first space, and overall it doesn't feel like a second phone but rather something much less. The fingerprint scanner rarely works and takes a long time to unlock. The speakers are very poor with very low volume no matter how you adjust it. It's also very unfortunate that it has no protection against water or moisture, and it freezes quite a bit in the cold. I don't even want to know what would happen if it gets even slightly wet. The Wi-Fi disconnects on its own and switches to "4G" internet (not even 5G). The memory is full with 50GB wasted in a space called "other," and it can only be cleared with a format, but still not completely, which I learned from previous versions of applications and in general, whatever you have done on the phone, it keeps things and doesn't delete them completely with this result. There are truly many negatives that I may be forgetting some of them now, but I hope I remembered the most important ones. Overall, it is slow as a phone, freezes often, and frequently requires a restart, and with the apps and updates, it becomes a mess. I wasted my money, and I definitely do not recommend it to anyone. It is definitely not worth the money, unless you treat it as a "Chinese" phone and get it for no more than 100 euros to have it as a second phone, but even then you can find others like it or even better.

New sealed and the battery drops very quickly although I can say that it charges quickly.
I don't know what's wrong, but I disabled several things in the settings (obviously we're falling back to 4G and 60Hz) and I also restricted some applications that I don't want to run in the background. I uninstalled some TIM applications and others that I don't know.
Finally, the battery improved a bit and has satisfactory duration, and it charges fast enough.
However, I really can't recommend this phone to someone who is not going to deal with the settings or doesn't know what to do to improve the battery life.

Calls, camera, and social media seem to be working fine for now.
The speaker/music feels like the phone is vibrating a bit, which you can feel when you touch the screen and it might bother someone while using the phone, but it sounds fine.

For €330, I expected it to be better, especially in terms of battery.
When you get something new, it should be properly set up from the beginning to withstand all the new options that a new phone can offer you.

I have it in my hands for a few hours ... my wife got the NE ... and I got the current normal edition.
As a first impression, mine ... the first edition, which features the Snapdragon 780G ... seemed slightly faster than my wife's NE, which features the Snapdragon 778G ... I will come back _____
_____Edit 1: The phone has been in my possession for 6-7 months, so I can express a more objective opinion ... The Mi 11 lite 5G is a mid-range phone that manages to stand out immediately due to its truly beautiful design along with its performance ... It is a versatile phone that can handle multiple tasks quickly, play games comfortably ... as well as engage satisfactorily in photography and video without significant compromises ... Clearly, a higher quality camera would be welcome ... but not for this category of phones .... However, for the battery, a larger one could indeed exist so that instead of 1-1.5 days of autonomy ... it could go up to 2 days. However, considering the proportions and the cost of the phone, I believe that overall, the hardware of the device is ... more than satisfactory .... Its screen is impressive and comfortable ... Decent cameras with REALISTIC colors !!! Powerful processor that perfectly satisfies an average user ... ULTRA LIGHT ... with minimal and not at all annoying protrusion of the cameras on its beautiful glass back ... Excellent 5G performance ...
In general, I consider it a very honest phone .... that with its 8 GB RAM ... can accompany its owner for a very long time
EDIT 2: 30/05/2023: .... After > 1.5 years, it has received an upgrade to Android 13 and MIUI 14 ... So far, no problems !!!

It was purchased for 378 euros, shortly after its release in the Greek market.

I switched from a Samsung Galaxy S7 (4 years of use), which I gave to my mother, and from a Xiaomi Redmi Note 8T (1 year of use), which was extremely slow as the 3GB RAM was not enough for applications other than Gmail and Messenger, and I needed something more powerful for my daily life.

In the Mi 11 Lite (5G), after exactly 7 months of daily use, the home button/fingerprint sensor on the right side of the device stopped working. It now only opens/closes the screen 1 out of 5 times, and the fingerprint recognition has completely stopped working. I have a Spigen case for protection, which I bought on the first day for maximum protection, and a Spigen tempered glass for screen protection.

It's such a shame, considering that it is considered the flagship mini of Xiaomi at the moment I am writing this review... I did not expect this. I believe and want to believe that it is a defective sensor and I happened to have this case.

Unfortunately, the warranty is only 1 year, and that is why I am deducting a second star from my review. I expected 2 years, as is the case with all other manufacturers, for products sold within the EU.

I will take it to the store where I bought it for warranty and will provide a more detailed evaluation of the product at the first opportunity.

Edit 15/11/2021: I took it to an authorized service center of the store where I bought it (not the official Xiaomi service, InfoQuest) and I am waiting for updates.

Edit 18/11/2021: 4 days later, I contacted them and they confirmed that there was indeed an issue with the button. They are waiting for a replacement to arrive from abroad, and the replacement will be done next week.

Edit 24/11/2021: I was informed that they couldn't find a replacement part for the phone and that I will have to either receive a refund or a replacement.

Once I have the new device in my hands, I will continue with a more comprehensive evaluation that will also include its positive aspects, which are quite good.

Update 11/11/2022:
It didn't even last a year and it broke completely this time! When I plugged it in to charge (while turned off), it showed extremely slow charging rates and overheated. I left it to see how long it would take to reach 100%, but it never reached it and never turned on. At 73% battery, I tried to turn it on and it entered an endless boot loop (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z50EwDgG870&t=331s&ab_channel=TOPFONE4U). The screen would turn on with the Xiaomi logo, show that it was charging directly, and then start over from the beginning until it completely discharged. After a day of trying, the phone doesn't turn on at all, whether plugged in or not, completely non-responsive, and clinically dead (hopefully). This is the second device I have sent for warranty, and I hope no one else buys it and goes through the same experience as me... it's been a lot of trouble to be without a phone for so many days. I ordered the Xiaomi Redmi Note 11 Pro 5G with borrowed money so that I don't stay without a phone for 10+ days again. I will provide further updates as I receive more information from the store and the service center that currently has my device.

In the end, I filed a complaint through the consumer advocate (https://www.synigoroskatanaloti.gr/el) as they were not refunding my money, and after 20 calendar days, they informed me to come and collect my money.

Final conclusion: As long as it lasted, it was good, but it's much better to get a lower-end Xiaomi like the Redmi Note 10/10 Pro or even a better (!) 11/11 Pro/11 Pro+ and have it last for four years instead of this disaster with an initial price of 400 euros...ridiculous. Personally, I filed a complaint (http://www.synigoroskatanaloti.gr/stk_links.html) with the consumer advocate because they wouldn't give me my money back, and a month later, I switched to the iPhone 13 5G and finally had peace of mind.
