Isomat Isolac Rust Primer is an alkyd primer that protects metal surfaces from rust and serves as a base coat for ISOLAC DUCO metal paint. Suitable for indoor and outdoor use on new or previously painted surfaces, such as doors, railings, machinery and tools. Apply to a dry surface free of rust, grease and loose material; sanding is recommended.
Apply one or two coats, allowing approximately 8 hours before applying the second coat. For brush or roller application, thin by 5–10% with SM-21; for airless application, thin by 10–20% with SM-22. Apply at temperatures between +10°C and +35°C.
