This volume is the first part of a series of instructional manuals and a personal approach after twenty-two years of teaching in the learning of the Cretan lyre. It is aimed at both those involved in teaching and the students. The content is presented progressively, according to the level of difficulty, but at the same time serves as a guide that the teacher can refer to selectively, based on the student's abilities.
