It does its job, but personally I expected a slightly better response in location updates. There are times when it is slow to refresh the position or not as immediate as I would like, especially if you compare it to what you expect from an Apple product.

Also, it is quite annoying that it can be easily detected by another iPhone user nearby, which in some uses significantly reduces the discretion one would expect.

On the positive side, the battery lasted about 1.5 years without replacement, so I was quite satisfied with its autonomy.

I got this excellent product and I have put it in my car and in my suitcases when I travel, and now I have peace of mind because there is the extra confirmation of where my things are.

I use it on my dog, it has good range, various useful options, however it doesn't always show me where it is.

It needs a few frequent battery changes, but it is reliable. It has helped me find lost keys from my phone!

They do not work as they should after a few years. They show the location with a big delay. Sometimes even the next day

The connection is extremely simple and easy, as with most products in the Apple ecosystem, and it does exactly what it advertises.

Very nice and practical gadget! It notifies me every time I forget my keys somewhere, before I manage to get too far away. In general, a very useful device for everyday use.

Easy installation, easy battery replacement, with iPhone easy to find. Excellent product, I use it on every key and even in the car. The hassle of searching for keys (especially with very young children, is over)

I got it yesterday 4/11/25 and left it in the car in a parking lot. I checked Find My hours later to see what was happening and I saw that it kept updating continuously.
I imagine it does a good job since 1 in 4 has an iPhone and you know its location at any moment.
Now we just have to see how it works in practice, and also see how long the battery lasts.

Excellent! I will buy more! It works by receiving a signal from nearby iPhones in order to show its location. Obviously, it does not reveal its location to any iPhone, only to the Apple account it is connected to. Also, it does not work like GPS, providing real-time location, but rather where it was 'last seen,' meaning the last time it received a signal. It works with a battery and you can 'share' it with other Apple accounts, so everyone in the family can see this particular item.

Very practical, with a suitable keychain/case you can track keys and wallet, but even on their own you can just throw them in a backpack/suitcase and have peace of mind. I didn't expect them to be so effective at tracking. I was thinking, "How many strangers' phones will actually pass by it so it can send coordinates?" And yet!

Just so you know, it's not live track; someone with an iPhone has to pass by it for its location to appear. For keys, etc., it's perfect, but if you want it for a car, a GPS tracker is better.

I bought it for anti-theft protection for my car, without knowing that in the end it doesn't work, I found out later!

It gives you its exact location when you are within a 15-meter radius, if you are further away it shows you a huge circle and its approximate location somewhere within the circle!

If someone with an iPhone steals your car and you have it inside, it notifies them with a sound and a notification on their phone that it is there!

I have many Apple products from an iMac 2020 to an iPhone 16 Pro Max, in my opinion, it's the most useless and overpriced thing the company has ever released!

Very nice product with immediate response. It seems quite durable. Note that in order to update the location, there must be an Apple device nearby.

I used it for the first time on a trip abroad where I changed 4 flights. Immediate in notification, it told me exactly where my luggage was and as soon as I moved away from each hotel, a notification would come immediately

Wonderful. It does a good job and the fact that it can stick to magnetic surfaces makes it quite a bit more flexible. Obviously, it's not GPS but for €30 it's worth it. Apple quality

I think it's a bit random as it stops working on its own and it also doesn't display well when you move it, because if there isn't an iPhone nearby you lose the signal completely

No comments here. Apple either works or it doesn't. When it works, it's a rocket. When it doesn't work, you're helpless and there's no middle ground (those who have been dealing with the company for about 20 years and have had some duds will understand me). The airtag is a rocket. I think in ultra wide band tagging, the product is unbeatable.

It's incredibly worth it. Although it's considered expensive, it does an amazing job. You change the battery every more than six months or so, maybe even longer. I use it for my motorcycle and it's super convenient. You get a case to place it in and you're all set. In general, if I could, I would buy many and put them in more things.

Quite reliable in urban areas. As long as there are iPhones in the area to relay the signal.

But, it gets a signal so it picks up some iPhone nearby and thus updates its location!
Also, who guarantees us that someone who has set their sights on our property (car, motorcycle, bicycle) won't also have an iPhone, resulting in them getting a notification that some AirTag is following them, thus finding it and disabling it!
So... good for checking if your property is still where you left it, especially in busy places where it will frequently update its location, but not to rely on it if something bad happens!
