Purchased for professional use. While as a monitor, it is quite decent, after 9 months it started an annoying flickering which is present both on my work laptop (via type C) and on my personal computer via Display Port.
With a quick search online, this phenomenon is quite common in this model and it seems to be a hardware issue.
You can't easily get anywhere with the service and I'm still struggling. What a shame.
For a 400€ screen, it's unacceptable.

Αγοράστηκε για επαγγελματική χρήση. Ενώ σαν μόνιτορ, είναι αξιοπρεπέστατο, στους 9 μήνες ξεκίνησε ένα εκνευριστικό flickering το οποίο εντωπίζεται και στο λάπτοπ της εργασίας μου (μεσω type C) αλλά και στο προσωπικό υπολογιστή μέσω Display Port.
Με μια αναζήτηση στο διαδίκτυο, είναι αρκετά συχνές το φαινόμενο σε αυτό το μοντέλο και μάλλον είναι hardware issue.
Ακρη με το σέρβις δεν βγάζεις ευκολα άκρη και ακόμη παλεύω. Κριμα.
Για οθόνη 400ε είναι ανεπίτρεπτο.
Θα ενημερώσω την αξιολόγηση για κάτι εκ νέου.

It is aimed at people who want to use it as a unified hub to connect to their laptop and a second computer. For this use, it is quite impressive. It is true that the base is not very stable. But it supports both vertical movement and pivot.

Το βασικότερα ειναι οτι η οθόνη αυτή δεν απευθύνεται σε κάποιον που απλά θέλει μια καλή οθόνη να συνδέσει πχ στο desktop του. απευθύνεται σε κόσμο που θέλει να την χρησιμοποιήσει σαν ενα unified hub για να συνδέσει στο λαπτοπ του και σε 2ο υπολογιστη. Για αυτή την χρηση είνα καπως εντυπωσιακη. Με το kvm switch, μπορεις να συνδέσεις στη οθόνη το πληκτρολόγιο σου και να το κάνει switch αυτόματα στον υπολογιστή που δείχνει εκείνη την στιγμη. Σαν hub για το λαπτοπ, συνδέεις απλα ενα USB-C και εχεις εικόνα, ήχο (εχει και minijack output), ethernet και USB-A ports. Το εντυπωσιακότερο ειναι οτι μπορεις να συνδέσεις και 2η οθόνη με DisplayPort πανω στην dell (daisy chained). Να σημειωθει βεβαια οτι προς το παρον το mac OS δεν το υποστηρίζεi αυτό.
Ισχύει ότι η βάση δεν είναι φοβερά σταθερή. Αλλά υποστηρίζει και κάθετη κίνηση και pivot.
Θα την πρότεινα σίγουρα για κάποιον που μπορεί να δικαιολογήσει το μεγάλο κόστος (πχ επαγγελματία) και θα χρησιμοποιήσει τις λειτουργίες του hub για το λάπτοπ του.
It is the 4th Ultrasharp with the previous one being the U2421HE.
Very good image quality (not exceptional as expected), slightly darkens at the edges, but not something excessively annoying. You get used to it immediately. Plenty of inputs, it solves your problem with a cable if you have a laptop that supports PD via USB-C.
Quality-wise: Below the previous series, a feeling of plastic that you wouldn't expect at this price range (the 2421 was a solid thing). Plastic base, if you don't have a completely stable desk, it moves, and if you try to change the tilt on the base, it creaks and you're afraid of breaking something.
We said cost-cutting, but they went overboard with it.
Recommended if the only thing that interests you is a restful image (I have it at 35% brightness and it is still very bright and comfortable for the eyes).
It does not have Comfort View in the menu (presets) like the previous one, but the tricksters did something and it's not bothersome (fantastic preset on the 2421).
If we exclude these stylistic and construction aspects, it is worth its money if you spend 8 and 10 hours in front of a monitor.

Ποιοτικά: Κάτω από την προηγούμενη σειρά, αίσθηση πλαστικούρας που δεν την περιμένεις σε αυτά τα χρήματα (η 2421 ήταν ενα μασιφ πράγμα). Βάση πλαστικούρα, αν δεν έχεις απόλυτα σταθερό γραφείο κουνιέται, και αν πας να αλλάξεις την κλίση πάνω στη βάση τρίζει και φοβάσαι μη σπάσεις τίποτα.
Είπαμε περικοπές στο κόστος αλλά του έδωσαν και κατάλαβε.
Προτείνεται αν το μοναδικό πράγμα που σε ενδιαφέρει είναι μια ξεκούραστη εικόνα (την έχω σε 35% brightness και εξακολουθεί να είναι πολύ φωτεινή και άνετη για τα μάτια).
Δεν έχει Comfort View στο μενού (presets) όπως η προηγούμενη, αλλά κάτι έκαναν οι μπαγάσιδες και δεν ενοχλεί (φανταστικό preset στην 2421).

I have it next to a dual monitor setup on a 27-inch Dell 1080p and I'm pulling my hair out over the colors I was seeing all this time....but a 180 and a 500 euro monitor are completely different, logical.

Coming from a 24" wide, I expected it to be bigger, but it is very compact. The color of the base and the back is silver and not white as it seemed to me at least in the photo.

Ξεκούραστη, καθαρή και με σωστά χρώματα εικόνα. Το bezel της είναι πολύ μικρό και κάνει την εμπειρία ακόμη πιο ευχάριστη. Οι ρυθμίσεις για την θέση σχεδόν δεν έχουν όρια και γίνονται πανεύκολα.
Με USB-C για σύνδεση και παράλληλα φόρτιση του laptop, ενσωματωμένο hub, ethernet και KVM για να συνδέσεις περισσότερους η/υ με το ίδιο keyboard / mouse, νομίζω είναι ο παράδεισος του cable managment!
Ερχόμενος απο 24" wide την περίμενα μεγαλύτερη αλλά είναι πολύ συμμαζευμένη. Το χρώμα της βάσης και του πίσω μέρους είναι ασημί και όχι λευκό όπως μου φαινόταν εμένα τουλάχιστον στην φωτογραφία.

Purchased for professional use. While as a monitor, it is quite decent, after 9 months it started an annoying flickering which is present both on my work laptop (via type C) and on my personal computer via Display Port.
With a quick search online, this phenomenon is quite common in this model and it seems to be a hardware issue.
You can't easily get anywhere with the service and I'm still struggling. What a shame.
For a 400€ screen, it's unacceptable.
I will update the review for something again.

Αγοράστηκε για επαγγελματική χρήση. Ενώ σαν μόνιτορ, είναι αξιοπρεπέστατο, στους 9 μήνες ξεκίνησε ένα εκνευριστικό flickering το οποίο εντωπίζεται και στο λάπτοπ της εργασίας μου (μεσω type C) αλλά και στο προσωπικό υπολογιστή μέσω Display Port.
Με μια αναζήτηση στο διαδίκτυο, είναι αρκετά συχνές το φαινόμενο σε αυτό το μοντέλο και μάλλον είναι hardware issue.
Ακρη με το σέρβις δεν βγάζεις ευκολα άκρη και ακόμη παλεύω. Κριμα.
Για οθόνη 400ε είναι ανεπίτρεπτο.
Θα ενημερώσω την αξιολόγηση για κάτι εκ νέου.

Το βασικότερα ειναι οτι η οθόνη αυτή δεν απευθύνεται σε κάποιον που απλά θέλει μια καλή οθόνη να συνδέσει πχ στο desktop του. απευθύνεται σε κόσμο που θέλει να την χρησιμοποιήσει σαν ενα unified hub για να συνδέσει στο λαπτοπ του και σε 2ο υπολογιστη. Για αυτή την χρηση είνα καπως εντυπωσιακη. Με το kvm switch, μπορεις να συνδέσεις στη οθόνη το πληκτρολόγιο σου και να το κάνει switch αυτόματα στον υπολογιστή που δείχνει εκείνη την στιγμη. Σαν hub για το λαπτοπ, συνδέεις απλα ενα USB-C και εχεις εικόνα, ήχο (εχει και minijack output), ethernet και USB-A ports. Το εντυπωσιακότερο ειναι οτι μπορεις να συνδέσεις και 2η οθόνη με DisplayPort πανω στην dell (daisy chained). Να σημειωθει βεβαια οτι προς το παρον το mac OS δεν το υποστηρίζεi αυτό.
Ισχύει ότι η βάση δεν είναι φοβερά σταθερή. Αλλά υποστηρίζει και κάθετη κίνηση και pivot.
Θα την πρότεινα σίγουρα για κάποιον που μπορεί να δικαιολογήσει το μεγάλο κόστος (πχ επαγγελματία) και θα χρησιμοποιήσει τις λειτουργίες του hub για το λάπτοπ του.
It is the 4th Ultrasharp with the previous one being the U2421HE.
Very good image quality (not exceptional as expected), slightly darkens at the edges, but not something excessively annoying. You get used to it immediately. Plenty of inputs, it solves your problem with a cable if you have a laptop that supports PD via USB-C.
Quality-wise: Below the previous series, a feeling of plastic that you wouldn't expect at this price range (the 2421 was a solid thing). Plastic base, if you don't have a completely stable desk, it moves, and if you try to change the tilt on the base, it creaks and you're afraid of breaking something.
We said cost-cutting, but they went overboard with it.
Recommended if the only thing that interests you is a restful image (I have it at 35% brightness and it is still very bright and comfortable for the eyes).
It does not have Comfort View in the menu (presets) like the previous one, but the tricksters did something and it's not bothersome (fantastic preset on the 2421).
If we exclude these stylistic and construction aspects, it is worth its money if you spend 8 and 10 hours in front of a monitor.

Ποιοτικά: Κάτω από την προηγούμενη σειρά, αίσθηση πλαστικούρας που δεν την περιμένεις σε αυτά τα χρήματα (η 2421 ήταν ενα μασιφ πράγμα). Βάση πλαστικούρα, αν δεν έχεις απόλυτα σταθερό γραφείο κουνιέται, και αν πας να αλλάξεις την κλίση πάνω στη βάση τρίζει και φοβάσαι μη σπάσεις τίποτα.
Είπαμε περικοπές στο κόστος αλλά του έδωσαν και κατάλαβε.
Προτείνεται αν το μοναδικό πράγμα που σε ενδιαφέρει είναι μια ξεκούραστη εικόνα (την έχω σε 35% brightness και εξακολουθεί να είναι πολύ φωτεινή και άνετη για τα μάτια).

I have it next to a dual monitor setup on a 27-inch Dell 1080p and I'm pulling my hair out over the colors I was seeing all this time....but a 180 and a 500 euro monitor are completely different, logical.

Restful, clean, and with accurate colors image. Its bezel is very small and makes the experience even more enjoyable. The settings for the position have almost no limits and are very easy to adjust.
With USB-C for connection and simultaneous charging of the laptop, built-in hub, Ethernet, and KVM to connect more computers with the same keyboard/mouse, I think it's cable management heaven!
Coming from a 24" wide, I expected it to be bigger, but it is very compact. The color of the base and the back is silver and not white as it seemed to me at least in the photo.
P.S. I found it on sale for a few hours at €370!!! (I imagined it was a mistake)
Ξεκούραστη, καθαρή και με σωστά χρώματα εικόνα. Το bezel της είναι πολύ μικρό και κάνει την εμπειρία ακόμη πιο ευχάριστη. Οι ρυθμίσεις για την θέση σχεδόν δεν έχουν όρια και γίνονται πανεύκολα.
Με USB-C για σύνδεση και παράλληλα φόρτιση του laptop, ενσωματωμένο hub, ethernet και KVM για να συνδέσεις περισσότερους η/υ με το ίδιο keyboard / mouse, νομίζω είναι ο παράδεισος του cable managment!
Ερχόμενος απο 24" wide την περίμενα μεγαλύτερη αλλά είναι πολύ συμμαζευμένη. Το χρώμα της βάσης και του πίσω μέρους είναι ασημί και όχι λευκό όπως μου φαινόταν εμένα τουλάχιστον στην φωτογραφία.
ΥΓ. την βρήκα για λίγες ώρες σε προσφορά στα 370€!!! (φαντάστηκα ότι είναι λάθος)
