Description

Description

The Arctic P8 PWM PST fan has a diameter of 80 mm and delivers airflow of up to 23.4 cfm, with a maximum speed of 3,000 rpm. PWM control allows the motherboard to adjust the speed to cooling needs, reducing noise. Its focused airflow and static pressure of 1.9 mmH₂O make it suitable for use with heatsinks and radiators.

The motor uses a neodymium magnet ring and sinusoidal magnetization to reduce vibrations. Speed is controlled via PWM over a range of 200–3,000 rpm, while PST functionality is supported by a 4-pin PWM connection. A 4-pin Molex connection is also included.

  • Dimensions: 80 × 80 × 25 mm
  • Maximum speed: 3,000 rpm
  • PWM speed range: 200–3,000 rpm
  • Maximum airflow: 23.4 cfm / 40.3 m³/h
  • Static pressure: 1.9 mmH₂O
  • Noise level: 26.2 dB
  • Operating voltage: 12 V DC
  • Cable length: 400 mm
  • Connections: 4-pin Molex and 4-pin PWM
  • Color: Black
  • Lighting: No LED

Very value for money. I installed it in a prebuilt Dell Optiplex 3080mt with a 1 to 2 4-pin cable and it works with the CPU cooler speeds, it has already reduced the temperatures in the PC

Nice, keeps the Ryzen 5 5500 cool in a case without much ventilation and is relatively quiet during basic multimedia tasks and browsing with Linux.
    Installation is simple.
It comes with a splitter for connecting a second 4-pin fan, which is very helpful.

  • Much better than the F8 PWM from Arctic because it reaches up to 3000rpm ±5%.
The good thing is that at 55% it reaches 1700rpm without being heard AT ALL!
I installed one in a LianLi 011 Midi, which doesn't have a rear spot for fans, using good double-sided tape in small pieces so they are not visible and don't block the airflow. I have been doing this for years with this case. In this particular one, you can fit up to x2 80mm fans, although two (2) are unnecessary and you won't notice a difference except for more overall noise.

Good fan but it didn't work for what I bought it for. I wanted to replace a CPU cooler fan and 1. the machine didn't post 2. when I managed to make it post, it didn't start functioning immediately after the post, and for a CPU cooler, this is something you don't want.
