The series Innovations in Education aims to contribute to the robust framing of the educational work and the teaching practice of prospective and serving educators through publications related to the treatment of innovative topics.
The series is targeted at those involved in educational events. This book addresses topics and issues of pedagogical, educational, and educational-political nature which play a significant role in the school, educational, pedagogical, and academic events of the country.
These topics refer to: a) the progress that has been made (if any) in the academic field for Educational Science, various opinions and positions that are expressed and formulated from time to time in the educational and academic field (but also elsewhere, for example in the media) both for this science and for generally controversial pedagogical and educational issues, b) the education and training of teachers in the two school levels, and c) questions and issues related to the design and implementation of educational policy.
The processing of these topics aims to give the reader the opportunity and ability, on the one hand, to form as comprehensive a picture as possible of the themes addressed, and on the other hand, to reflect and suggest solutions, given that one solution, any solution, is preferable to none.
