Very good for DIY and for amateur use in electrical work at home, the car, etc. The LED testing feature was very convenient for me because it shows you the voltage drop for each different type of LED, so it helps a lot with small projects!

The Uni-T UT89XD is an excellent multimeter, reliable and easy to use, with many functions and measurement accuracy. It offers excellent value for money and is ideal for both professionals and amateurs who want a quality tool!

Worthy product, I have taken it for measuring electrolytic capacitors mostly. It seems reliable. It also has a photocell in front that detects when there is low light and automatically turns on the screen light. With a little more intense light, it doesn't allow you to adjust the screen brightness afterwards, so if you want the brightness, you cover the photocell with your finger

It has never disappointed me so far. Although due to a change in activities, I don't use it much anymore. However, I know that whenever I need it, it's there. In contrast to an expensive German one I had bought years ago.

I haven't tried it in all its available features, but wherever I tried it, it worked correctly. I particularly like that in a dark environment, the screen automatically lights up.

Excellent for its cost, when I held it in my hands, I couldn't believe the quality of its construction for such a cost.
It generally has acceptable measurement accuracy, the measurement selection for the LEDs provides almost 14VDC which is ideal for fast and highly reliable testing of Mosfet and IGBT transistors, as well as classic BJT and other components such as SCR, Triac, Diodes, etc.

It is very good for its price!
The downside I find is the non-contact voltage detection, it doesn't work well.
Sometimes, even when the conductor is active, it doesn't show it

It is not autorange, but this is not a problem, when the scale ends you switch to the next one. Nice automation for the backlight of the screen, and the additional LED lighting at the back can be useful when working in low light conditions. The tolerance is given by the specifications (approximately 0.5% to 1.5%) and if it is not the lowest (that's why it has 4 stars) it is not critical for everyday applications. If we want guaranteed high accuracy, there are also "branded" brands with an additional 100€ and above.

The product may be cheap, but it is very reliable. I bought it for diode mode and led mode, and it is very reliable, it detects short circuits on PCBs. Suitable for both hobbyists and professionals
