The SOFT 2ST softening filter consists of a 1/2" filter holder, which is installed on the main supply.

  • Single 10″ cartridge that can be connected directly to the home's main water supply.
  • Aqua Filter FCPRA Polyphosphate crystal filter. The polyphosphate crystal filter breaks down salts in the water, making it "softer" for use.
  • The cartridge is changed approximately every 10 to 12 months, depending on the quality and quantity of water processed.
  • Polyphosphate crystals are ideal for installation in filters on the water supply of washing machines or dishwashers and generally where water hardness reduction is needed.
  • Polyphosphate crystals dissolve in water and essentially coat elements such as iron, calcium, magnesium, etc., making it impossible for these elements to precipitate out of the water.
