The worst antivirus was given to me by the employee along with the new laptop and without me knowing, I installed it. The laptop was freezing, the program wouldn't let me access certain websites, and it had many issues in general. DO NOT GET IT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES

Unfortunately, many do not know exactly what Zone Alarm is and it is not an Anti-Virus like ESET or Bitdefender, but it is just a Firewall.

Zone Alarm is from CheckPoint. CheckPoint is an Israeli Cyber Security company that specializes strictly in Firewalls and currently is number 1. If someone wants the ultimate security in their network and money is not a concern, they only look at CheckPoint. All the big companies go for Cisco, FortiNet, and CheckPoint. It's not that I am biased, but these three are the best there is so far.

As many write, Zone Alarm blocks many websites on its own because it is not intended for beginners. It needs settings to work properly as it does DNS and URL filtering.

Another thing they write is that it is heavy. This program does not keep local databases but communicates with the Cloud and requires internet speed.

They loaded it for me with the purchase of a desktop computer. The machine was slow from the first day, even with simple internet browsing and music. The pages kept freezing constantly and it had annoying add-ons. After contacting HP and having a system check, no errors were found. When I told them that I had installed ZoneAlarm, they immediately told me to uninstall it and everything would work fine. And that's what happened! Stay away!

I bought a new laptop that came with pre-installed antivirus software from another well-known company and everything was working fine. After the trial period of the pre-installed software expired, I decided to install ZoneAlarm, which came "mandatory" with the purchase of the laptop. As soon as the installation finished, everything started freezing, I restarted without any changes. I couldn't stand it for even 10 minutes, and as soon as I uninstalled it, everything went back to normal immediately. I would not recommend it for anyone, under any circumstances.

The terrible thing prohibits access to websites as it pleases without giving you the possibility to bypass it. And I'm not talking about dangerous websites, it's just on the list of those they have decided to block.

It came with the hp laptop I bought. As soon as I installed it, everything started freezing. No matter how many restarts I did, it wouldn't let me do anything. I had to put the computer in flight mode to uninstall it from the settings, not on the first try of course, because even then everything was still freezing. It finally worked on the fourth or fifth attempt and the computer started working properly. I would much rather get a different antivirus program.

I have been dealing with computers for 20 years and I have never seen such nonsense before. Paying almost 40 euros for a computer that is worth 2500 euros, an Asus ROG with 32 gigabytes of RAM, and it runs so slow.

I also loaded myself with buying a laptop with a subsidy. Truly the worst antivirus. Apart from the fact that it constantly opens a window for threat (which is okay, but very annoying), it is extremely heavy.
I bought a laptop with a 512GB SSD, 16GB RAM, and an AMD Ryzen 7 5700 processor. After installing Zone Alarm, it literally dragged. In fact, I didn't know what was wrong and the brand new laptop with the above (very good) features was not responsive. It reached a point where it would display the message "Not responding" almost every time I opened a tab on the internet, even if I opened a Word file, for example. Tragic in every sense of the word and more.
Of course, as soon as I uninstalled it, everything works perfectly and the laptop "flies".

It is the most disgusting thing I have ever put on my computer... I mean, it messes up the computer, everything freezes, and I'm not talking about a computer that just surfs the internet, but a tool that I use to play heavy games and I have spent a lot of money on it.
It is unthinkable for it to freeze every five seconds...
I gave this program about a week of my time trying to find the cause and found nothing, so I uninstalled it and relaxed.
Stay away from buying it, guys.

They loaded it on me with the purchase of a subsidized laptop. It's annoying... maybe it offers security, but every time you try to download any file (even pdfs from gov.gr and taxis.net) it throws messages (no action in the background whatsoever). After 5 months of patience, I throw it away even though it's been purchased for two years and I go back to my old one (BITDEFENDER)
