Pre-Effects

We have all experienced digital pre-effect pedals that belong to the Wall of Shame - especially the Overdrive. The modelers of this kind used the linear algorithm which does not provide negative feedback for dynamic playability. The pre-effect block beautifully recreates the awesome signature sound of real analog overdrive/distortion pedals.

Algorithm Modeling Amplifier WHITE-BOX

The concept "Chaos makes the muse" applies perfectly to the analog circuit. When you tweak the knob, it affects itself as well as other parameters. For a linear digital system, the parameter is independent. The white-box algorithm offers true negative feedback, step by step. The NUX TSAC-HD replicates the same playability that most guitarists prefer in a real tube amplifier.

Impulse Response Technology

NUX is known for its Impulse Response technology. Using IR is the most popular way to simulate a cabinet today. Why? Because the sound is noticeably more realistic compared to traditional cabinet simulation.
The MG-300 offers 512 samples of impulse response resolution. You can load third-party IR files using the NUX QuickTone editing software. (The MG-300 supports 48kHz wav format.) The built-in 25 cabinet IRs combine 4 classic microphones with 3 positions to allow beginners a quick and easy way to get into the multi-effects experience.

Modulation

NUX created the popular Mini Core Series and the Verdugo Series (post effects) using Core Image Technology. Now the MG-300 provides you with the same sound library - including all the classic Chorus, Flanger, Phase, Vibe, Rotary, Vibrato, and more.

Delay

If you have tried the Cerberus or the Atlantic, you know the impressive Delay and Reverb sound of NUX. The MG-300 offers even more new models and algorithms with Core Image technology. It also provides subdivision and tap tempo to make your tone more musical.

Jam ( Drum & Looper )

The MG-300 supports NUX Phrase Loop Synchronization with Rhythm - a pioneering technology derived from the popular NUX Loop Core Stompbox and later the JTC Pro Drum & Loop. Every guitarist has their own funky way, so a truly versatile drum & looper is essential. The MG-300 features 8 rhythm styles, each style has 7 different beats. You can play the rhythm and then record your phrase loop. The MG-300 will automatically modify the phrase to match the current BPM of the rhythm.

*The MG-300 offers 60s phrase loop recording time

NUX Quick Tone Software

Connect to NUX Quick Tone and you can easily adjust parameters, download patches, load third-party IRs, and even set up audio flow routing via USB. Quick Tone is an interactive editing software - when you tweak the Real knobs, you will see your changes in real-time.

Upgraded Software MG-300 V4

Based on the NUX MLD bass preamp, which NUX collaborates with Melvin Lee Davis. Melvin Lee Davis is an American bassist, singer, keyboardist, producer, TV composer, and engineer based in Orange County, California. He is the musical director for Grammy-winning artist Chaka Khan and has recorded with the Pointer Sisters, Lee Ritenour, Bryan Ferry, Patti Austin, and Gladys Knight & the Pips.

Expression Pedal

The Expression Pedal can be used to control volume or effects.

  • WAH: Controls the WAH filter.
  • EFX: Controls the GAIN (DRIVE) parameter of the OD/DIST. Or controls the PITCH parameter of the PITCH BENDER.
  • AMP: Controls the LEVEL parameter of the AMP.
  • MOD: Controls the MIX level of modulation effects.
  • DLY: Controls the MIX level of Delay effects.
  • RVB: Controls the MIX level of reverb effects.

    I see that in the Greek community this product has no reviews and I really don't understand why no one would buy it... In terms of sound quality, it is amazing for its price, it has many presets and combinations for pedals, and the USB interface for recording audio directly to the computer without a sound card has been extremely convenient for me. The only negative, but completely acceptable for the price you pay, is the plastic construction. In conclusion, for its price, I would say it is a real value for money with everything one can ask for from a multi-effect.
