G Master Optical Design with XA Elements and Super ED

The optical design incorporates two XA (extreme aspherical) elements, delivering crystal-clear resolution across the entire image, even with the aperture wide open at f/1.8. One Super ED glass element and two ED elements dramatically correct chromatic aberrations. At the same time, the advanced geometry of the front XA element minimizes sagittal flare, making it ideal for astrophotography and nighttime cityscapes.
