The QUANTUM QE subwoofers impress with their very compact design. The QE622 subwoofer has a nearly sleek shape, but with the aluminum grille and the dual magnet of 2 x 40 oz, it states: "Caution, it can get very loud!" The slightly larger subs feature a powerful dual magnet of 2 x 63 oz and, like the QE622, have a hole in the core and a vented T-Plate for optimal cooling.

The QE622 features a large voice coil of 2” (50 mm) with a rated RMS power of 250 Watts, while the QE822 and QE1022 have a voice coil of 2.5” (64 mm) with rated RMS powers of 400 and 600 Watts. Extremely long voice coils of heights 30 or 36 mm allow for a linear excursion of +/- 10 mm.

Both woofers feature dual voice coils with 2 + 2 ohms each, allowing for a configuration of 1 x 4 Ohm or even 1 x 1 Ohm. It is possible to connect multiple subwoofers in series to a single amplifier.
