Saint Stylianos is an Asia Minor saint who lived between the 4th and 6th centuries. He was born in Adrianople of Paphlagonia in Asia Minor. Once he came of age, he distributed his paternal estate to the poor and lived in a remote place with fasting and persistent exercise in a cave. Over the years, he gained a reputation mainly for his miraculous prayer that helped many women when they could not have children. Thus, Saint Stylianos became established as the protector of infants and healer of children's diseases. He died in Paphlagonia, the date unknown. The Orthodox Church honors his memory on November 26.
