Description

Description

Automatic machine EA8170 for espresso coffee, by Krups. The coffee supply is done with beans, where the built-in grinder grinds your coffee on demand. Thus, with just a simple touch from you, the desired amount of freshly ground coffee and water is adjusted and the coffee is automatically prepared.

This means it offers ease of use and consistency in the quality of coffee produced each time by the machine. Also, meticulous cleaning is not required each time, as it has a removable coffee residue container that you can empty and clean whenever it fills up.

It has a power of 1450 Watts, and it takes a few minutes for the water to heat up for the coffee to be made. Usually, from around 1100 Watts and above, it is a device that heats the water quickly. The water tank is removable, thus offering easy filling and cleaning, and has a capacity of 1.7 liters. This means it can make up to approximately 28 single cups of hot espresso coffee before needing to be refilled. Additionally, thanks to the milk frother, you can manually mix steam and milk to create foam with the ideal density for the milk drink you prefer, such as for cappuccino or latte.

Finally, the pressure exerted by the boiler on the coffee to achieve extraction corresponds to 15 bars. The usual values recommended for a rich and creamy espresso are from 9 bars and above.

Additional Features:

  • Suitable for Home use
  • LCD Display
  • Dimensions: 48.4x38.1x28.7 cm

I bought the machine on 06/24 and within a year I have taken it to the service center four times because it was breaking down. The first time they changed the pump, the third time we don't remember, and the fourth time they showed me pictures from inside the machine, which was full of spilled coffee and causing the relay to malfunction. How is it possible for the machine to fill with coffee from the inside????? I bought KRUPS because it seemed like a very good company and I regret it bitterly.

  • Expensive but worth its money, it makes noise when the grinder is working but not like a compressor! The first coffees are a bit watery but it's normal until it settles a bit

Very good. You need to try some coffees to find one that suits your taste. So far, I have found that I like different ones hot and different ones cold. Cleaning is relatively easy. The annoying thing is that you have to clean the bottom tray that releases the water and cleans the coffee often because it fills up easily. It throws out coffee that if you don't throw away after 2 doubles, it fills up and it's difficult to clean. The coffee comes out quite hot even when I lower the temperature. 6 doubles every day. I would say that I liked the upgrade. I saved 10 minutes in making 2 espressos in the morning, not to mention cleaning the group head and the rest.

In the 6th month, it broke, bought it with a warranty, they took care of everything, the only bad thing was that they never told me when they received it and how long it would take to fix. The service takes 45-50 days.

When it came back from service, the problem I had sent it for was fixed, but another one was created. Starting from scratch again!
