The Pro-Ject Audio Box DS2T CD player plays CD, CD-R, CD-RW and Hybrid-SACD discs. Its slot-loading mechanism uses a quadruple-suspended CD drive, while the Blue Tiger control board supports 1:1 CD playback. The robust chassis protects against vibration and interference.

The 3 mm-thick aluminium front panel features a high-contrast dot-matrix display that shows playback information. The unit includes a DC power supply and has a trigger input and output.
