The Pro-Ject Audio Phono Box RS phono preamplifier features a dual-mono design and supports MM and MC cartridges. Input impedance can be continuously adjusted using the front-panel potentiometer, even while listening, and the RIAA and DECCA equalisation circuits are fully passive and selectable.

Inputs and outputs are available in balanced XLR and unbalanced RCA formats. The metal chassis shields the circuits from vibration and electrical interference.
