The holder is very nice. It connects to the motherboard with a 3-pin RGB 5V connection. You can place it to hold the card either from the front or from the side. It was connected to a Gigabyte B550XV2 Gaming motherboard. Highly recommended

The magnet holds the base firmly down and the support does not "slip". Wherever you put it, it stays in place.
