The interdisciplinary approach to the subject matter is used in this recorder teaching book. The author selects tools from music theory, music-motor education, folklore, and history. Students are invited to play, sing, dance, and draw, thereby enhancing the learning process. At the moment when recorder teaching is successfully achieved with elementary school children, students incorporate the knowledge provided and learn to reproduce it. Music teaching promotes individual expression and collaboration.
