    In the description, at least when I ordered it, it said 1500w and that was the reason I ordered it. The hotplate they actually send is 1000w, resulting in it taking longer to heat the food. I am truly disappointed with this purchase, because I lose time with every cooking session and there was no support in the refund process as they did not refund the shipping costs. So be very careful if you want to order it, because in the 1000w category the competition is different and this product is definitely not the best choice for its price
