Discreet presence of wood on the nose accompanied by citrus fruits, it is very reminiscent of Speyside even though it is from Campeltown.
On the palate, greengages, cherries, a bit of leather, dark chocolate and a long, slightly smoky finish.
Very nice and multidimensional whisky.
