To be a hero of a story, the least you need is a name. To be able to tell the world who will listen or read you, or want to share your story with others: "Hello, I am so-and-so and I will tell you about my adventures!".
When you don't have a name, as is the case with me, that seems impossible. Of course, I have some features that make me stand out, such as being quite strong, a good ball player, and incredibly fast at running. But try shouting to a friend you see across the sidewalk, "Strong-enough-and-cool ball-player-and-incredibly-fast-at-running!". By the time you finish the phrase, your friend will already be three streets away! And you'll be left without company!
Basically, what I definitely have is a number. I am number 21. I was given this number at the Foundation where I live. Because I don't have my own mom or my own dad or a home with a mom, a dad, siblings, and a garden (and I wouldn't mind not having a garden, I just love nature). I am, as they say, a little orphan boy. But I don't get sad, because I know that somewhere outside the walls of the Foundation, there is a family looking for me! So, until they come to find me, the people at the Foundation take care of me.
