Description

Father Evangelos Papadopoulos is a priest of the Orthodox Church, serving in the mission field in Cameroon, Africa. However, circumstances have brought him to stay with us and inspire us with his talks, embodying in the modern era the phrase of the Apostle Paul: "For we have been made a spectacle to the world, both to angels and to men" (1 Cor. 4:9). Indeed, Father Evangelos does not hesitate to preach, to shout, to self-mock, aiming to remind us who we are and where we are headed. Above all, he reminds us of the infinite love of our Lord.

What he says are not his own inventions; he studies diligently and laboriously, having listened to enlightened saints as well as priests illuminated by God, who have not yet been canonized. And all this arduous study of the Scriptures and our Tradition he conveys to us as a parent feeds their child with a spoon, telling them stories and sometimes even making them laugh.

In this book, Father Evangelos invites us to live together with the Apostles the Passion of the Lord and through it to rediscover our own resurrected self.

May it be so.
