On March 12, 2020, the theaters closed, and a period of "pause" and restrictions began as we battled an "invisible enemy," Covid. As fear and sadness spread around me, I was sure that this trial came for a reason. I remained calm, and thus I had the opportunity to listen to my inner voice.

"Every obstacle is for good," it told me. Once again, I trusted it. Once more, my friends began to ask me, "How do you do it? You're happy, and we're one step away from depression." "I tell you, but you forget it," I replied with a smile, "so, since I have free time, I'll sit down to write it… However, to understand how I live now, I will start my story from the beginning." With the hope of being useful, I share with you A Beautiful Day.

Each of us is entitled to one life. However, some manage to fit many lives into the same time frame. And the more different these lives are from one another, the greater the wealth of soul they accumulate. And the most generous among them, somewhere along the way, decide to share that wealth – lavishly, selflessly, and with smiles. Thanasis Efthimiadis is such a generous person.

Born and raised in Kavala, his life changed course when fortune winked at him, and he courageously and determinedly responded to her call.
