"The Accidental Death of an Anarchist" The play was first presented in 1970 in Italy, prompted by the state murder of the anarchist railway worker Giuseppe Pinelli. The work was enriched again and again, with the contribution and editing of Franca Rame, so that it is now considered a timeless satire of murderous and criminal power.
As Bertolt Brecht said, "In dark times, we sing about dark times, then the time of roses will come for us too." Let us not have illusions, however, we will see the arrogance and cruelty of power return.
A power under a different guise, masked faces with the same people underneath. And we will see our comrades who crossed over to their lines for much or little money. The important thing for us is to have the strength to return to the starting point, with the same anger and the same determination to once again show the public the naked and horrific rear of hypocrisy.
