Description & Specifications

Textile Silk Fabric Paint Art Creation 50 ml Talens

Textile Silk paints, specially designed for fabrics and silk, from Talens’ Art Creation range. Ideal for decorating silk and lightly coloured fabrics and clothing. Suitable for colouring and painting garments, accessories and home décor items such as cushion covers and household textiles.

The Textile Silk range is designed for silk and fabrics. Talens Art Creation Textile Silk paints can be used to completely change the colour of clothing and accessories such as scarves, blouses and T-shirts, as well as household textiles. Apply the paint with a brush for precise results, or dip the fabric into the paint using dip-dye and tie-dye techniques to create colourful patterns. For best results, fix the colour by ironing once dry.

  • It is recommended to wash the fabric without fabric softener before dyeing.
  • Wet the fabric with water before starting to help the colours blend more easily.
  • Prepare your work surface and cover it with plastic to protect it.
  • Apply the paint directly to the fabric or silk with a brush, or dip the fabric into the paint using dip-dye and tie-dye techniques to create colourful patterns.
  • For more intense colours, allow the paint to dry and absorb for at least 24 hours before heat-setting and washing.
  • For softer colours, rinse with water before heat-setting.
  • Fix the colours by ironing for 5 minutes using an iron set for silk or cotton, with protective paper between the iron and the fabric.
  • After ironing, silk fabrics should only be hand-washed.
  • All other fabrics can be washed at up to 40 °C and are suitable for tumble drying.
  • Wash items in cold water the first few times to prevent colour fading.
  • Allow them to dry completely before wearing.
