The Pentair QL3B water filter system is installed under the counter and filters drinking water using the Pentair Everpure H-104 replacement cartridge. The filter has a 0.5 μm filtration rating and contains Micro-Pure Filtration activated carbon and KDF media. It is NSF 42 certified for chlorine reduction and improving taste and odor, and NSF 53 certified for reducing cysts and heavy metals such as lead.

The system has a metal housing and a quick-change system for connecting the filter to Everpure QL3B, QL3, QL2B and QL2 heads. The filter also helps reduce turbidity, iron and manganese oxides, sulfide oxides and particulate matter, as well as inhibit scale formation. Its service life is up to 12 months, depending on water quality.
