Talens Art Creation Lacquer-Transfer Craft Medium 250 ml

Lacquer Transfer Medium for crafts and decoupage from Talens’ Art Creation range. Suitable for transferring images printed with a laser printer onto surfaces you wish to decorate, such as canvas, wood and stones. It can also be used as a varnish or strong adhesive for papier-mâché, collage and decoupage (not for napkins), as well as an adhesive for small objects such as shells and pearls.

For decorative use only.

  • Suitable for surfaces such as wood, cardboard, clay, plastic, cement, papier-mâché and more.
  • Clean tools with water after use.
  • Apply with a brush or sponge.

Packaging: 250 ml plastic container.

How to transfer images:

  1. The image you want to transfer must be printed with a laser printer.
  2. Apply a layer of medium to the printed side of the image. Alternatively, you can apply the medium to the surface of the item you wish to decorate first.
  3. Note: The image will be transferred in reverse. If it contains text, mirror the image before printing.
  4. Place the paper with the printed side facing down onto the surface.
  5. Press firmly to remove any air bubbles.
  6. Leave to dry for at least 24 hours.
  7. Dampen the paper slightly with a wet cloth or sponge. Rub the paper with your fingers or a cloth to reveal the image.
  8. Once the image is completely dry, a white layer will appear that cannot be rubbed off. Apply a layer of Transfer Medium over the image and this layer will disappear.
