The BMC FB809/20 high-flow air filter is designed for the Mercedes-Benz SLK and features a multilayer construction made from cotton gauze impregnated with low-viscosity oil. Its design reduces air pressure loss and allows increased airflow compared with conventional paper filters.

It is washable and reusable, while the “Full Molding” method uses soft rubber in a single piece, without bonded joints. The epoxy-coated alloy mesh protects against petrol fumes and oxidation caused by moisture.
