The Levenhuk Rainbow 50L Plus biological microscope offers magnification up to 1280x and features a metal body. The 2x Barlow lens doubles the magnification, while the 40x objective lens has a spring-loaded mechanism to protect the optics if it comes into contact with the specimen. The glass optical elements have multiple anti-reflective coatings.
Two LED light sources, above and below the stage, allow you to observe transparent, opaque, and translucent specimens, and their brightness is adjustable. The head is inclined at 45° and rotates 360°. The microscope can be powered by an AC adapter or AA batteries and comes with a carrying case and a Levenhuk K50 experiment kit.
