wish i'd gone for the slightly more expensive one. the lid doesnt go on very easily after some weeks of use, the bowl that sits inside cracked quickly too, it's not a very good device gnerally. does filter water but no thanks to its design

It has thinner plastic than the previous one I had bought and the handle broke without much pressure...

Commenting on the use of the jug, it loses 2 stars because of the completely impractical way you fill it with water. Every time you want to add water, you have to remove the entire lid and then carefully fit it back into place to close it – and to fully fill the jug you have to repeat this process three times. A 20-year-old filter jug I used to use filled in a much more practical way without having to temporarily remove any of its plastic parts.

Attention: It does not mean that you put 2.4l of water inside and it filters it. You put a little less than 1 liter (in the upper container) and it filters it by passing it to the lower container.
I consider the size ideal for one or two people, as long as you refill it every time you drink water or make coffee. It is NOT for use at a table with many people or for filling a pot/bowl with water, get the bigger one for that.
On the other hand, if you fill it up every time you drink/use water, the water will always be relatively fresh!

The lid broke on top in the 1st week of use, resulting in having to press down on it for the water to pour out. Enough already!

It does its job. I would like the lid to fit a little better so I can have peace of mind. However, it's fine. Filter change every 150 liters and it costs around 6€ each

Sturdy design. The fact that the lid has to be removed to add water is annoying, but on the other hand, it makes cleaning the pitcher easier.

The capacity of the clean water should have been larger, and the way it fills up easier, instead of having to remove the entire lid.

We had bought it to try it out years ago, when it came out as the new model after the classic Brita. Poor construction, malfunctioning lid that broke immediately from the constant removing and replacing to fill it with water.

It is very good in design and construction, but for some incomprehensible reason, it does not have an opening on the lid to fill with water, I have to remove the lid every time, which is very inconvenient and unergonomic!

I bought it because it is slim and fits in the fridge. But it has some negatives.

- It doesn't fill easily. You have to remove the lid because it doesn't have a spout for filling.
- It collects odors from the fridge very quickly and the water gets a bad taste, so using it doesn't make sense.

I read comments about water filtration, but the pitcher has nothing to do with filtration. That is done by separate filters.

The second one I buy, and judging from the first one, it is durable, practical, and the filters are easy to find and relatively affordable if bought in large quantities.

I have been using it for 2 years and I have to say that it is one of the best purchases I have made. You can easily find spare parts and you can see a big difference in the water.

The taste issue mentioned in the comments is not due to the jug, but to the fact that chlorine is filtered, resulting in tasteless water.
The only negative thing for me is the absence of a lid that would facilitate filling, so there is no need to remove the entire lid. Nevertheless, I am satisfied!

The negative thing about it is that you have to remove the entire lid to fill it. I had the large one that filled from the top, but unfortunately the handle broke after 2 years of use.

I bought it a few months ago and I use it about 2-3 times a week to fill the coffee maker.
+It is more than enough for my own use, I must say.
-The filter leaves a taste in the water that I don't like for drinking water,
+but with the use in the coffee maker, any smell disappears.
-It filters somewhat slowly (not intended for "I'm thirsty - let me fill it up and have a glass"),
+but for my own use, there is no rush.
-Don't fill it up to the top as when the level of filtered water reaches the filter, the drainage speed drops close to zero. This is expected, as the containers in all pitchers are connected, and therefore the water doesn't have pressure to pass through the filter when the levels of clean/dirty water equalize.
-It retains a little water (practically stagnant, about 1-2 "drips") in the base of the filter and I'm afraid it will develop algae over time.

It is very convenient if you want clean water without having filters on the faucet. Convenient size for the refrigerator door

I bought 2 of these. It is a perfect purchase. There are spare filters available that are equally good and economical. I give it 4 stars because the model with a lid is more practical. Other than that, it does its job very well.
