Unacceptable to supposedly buy a microphone for recording music and apart from some low frequencies that sound a bit clearer compared to the smartphone's microphone, when you play at very low volume, everything else is a muffled mess with fluctuations in the sound. In order for the sound not to get muffled, you have to keep the volume so low that you can barely hear what you're playing, but then the sound of the pick from playing is louder than the music and gets recorded. The smartphone itself gives a much better overall result at higher music volume. It's laughable! Money wasted.

It does a good job if you don't want to buy an iPhone just for better sound in videos.
