I got it for my MacBook. It does the job just fine. It gets a little warm, but I suppose all hubs have that. If you connect an external hard drive to a Mac, plug the charger into the PD port on the hub. Otherwise, it will "throw it away" because it will draw too much power. Other than that, it's very good. I bought other accessories from the same company. Reliable and high-quality.

Overall, good construction, but for the SD I can say that I am disappointed with the speeds. It states in the photo up to 60MB/s and with a memory card that has a write speed of up to 80MB/s I ultimately reach a max of 8MB/s.

Αναγνωρίζει όμως εξωτερικους σκληρούς δίσκους SSD/HDD. Σύνδεση εξωτερικής οθόνης HDMI κάνει νούμερα flickering ακόμα και με καλώδιο 8K 120Hz (που εγώ το θέλω για 2Κ 30Hz).
**Επανέλαβα μετρήσεις ταχύτητας με άλλο software απο αυτό που χρησιμοποίησα αρχικα και εφόσον έχεις δισκους που φτανουν τετοιες ταχυτητες τοτε ναι, οι θυρες φτάνουν την ταχύτητα την οποία διαφημίζουν (5Gbit/s) οπότε +1 αστέρι

In general, it offers several and a good combination of ports. Unfortunately, I encountered a very annoying problem. Because the USB-A ports it has are USB 3.0, they suffer from a known problem regarding interference with 2.4GHz wireless frequencies. So if you connect a receiver for a wireless mouse and keyboard that operates on these frequencies (like most do), you will have issues with interruptions, freezing, etc. in the input.
This is due to poor shielding of the USB 3.0, which should normally block such interference.
I don't know if it's specifically a flaw with mine or a general problem, but with a more expensive D-Link that I tried, I didn't have this issue.
Σε γενικές γραμμές προσφέρει αρκετές και καλό συνδυασμό από θύρες. Δυστυχώς εγώ αντιμετώπισα ένα πολύ ενοχλητικό πρόβλημα. Επειδή οι θύρες USB Α που έχει είναι USB 3.0, πάσχουν από γνωστό πρόβλημα σχετικά με παρεμβολές σε 2.4GHz ασύρματες συχνότητες. Έτσι αν συνδέσεις πάνω δέκτη για ασύρματο ποντίκι και πληκτρολόγιο που παίζει σε αυτές τις συχνότητες (όπως τα περισσότερα), θα έχεις θέματα με διακοπές λειτουργιών, κολλήματα κλπ στο Input.
Αυτό είναι εξαιτίας κακού shielding του USB3 που κανονικά θα έπρεπε να μπλοκάρει τέτοιου είδους παρεμβολές.
Δεν ξέρω αν είναι συγκεκριμένα ελατωμματικό το δικό μου ή γενικά το πρόβλημα, αλλά με ένα πιο ακριβό D-Link που δοκίμασα δεν είχα αυτό το πρόβλημα.
I went to buy the corresponding 6-in-1 model from Baseus, but the store informed me that there is also an 8-in-1 model, which is slightly more expensive but likely has a better chipset. I bought it and I have connected:

I have connected it via USB-C to an HP laptop (Spectre x360 15 bt-*) with Windows 10 and the latest updates. Well, everything worked perfectly right away. I didn't even need to install drivers.
I have to admit that I didn't expect everything to work plug-and-play, but I'm glad that for once I didn't have any trouble.
The device generates a lot of heat under the conditions I described - I concluded that this is mainly due to the fact that I had the HDMI screen connected (if I disconnect the screen, the temperature of the hub is very low). However, with the HDMI connected, the hub almost burns when you touch it. It might be a good idea to place it on a metal surface to dissipate the heat. It also helps that the hub's casing is made of metal.
Under no circumstances should you forget and squeeze it tightly while it is in operation (e.g. wrapped in fabric) because with so much heat, it may not only burn but also cause burns or fires after a while.
Network speed with the above configuration:
I have a 50/5 VDSL line. With a regular network card, SpeedTest.net shows 46.5 down / 4.65 up. The laptop reaches 45.9 down / 4.59 up. So, I think it's okay.
(I have heard that for 100/100 lines, there are slightly greater losses and it may drop to 90/9 - I need to test it under these conditions to say for sure)
Regarding the laptop charging, I have read that this hub can achieve it if someone separately purchases a data cable (I haven't exactly understood what kind of charging cable it is) that goes into the TypeC(PD) port (it is next to the HDMI port on the left). I assume it should be a cable like this (but I may be wrong):

Πήγα να αγοράσω το αντίστοιχο 6-in-1 μοντέλο της Baseus αλλά το κατάστημα με ενημέρωσε πως υπάρχει και αυτό που είναι 8-in-1 το οποίο είναι ελαφρώς πιο ακριβό αλλά κατά πάσα πιθανότητα έχει καλύτερο chipset. Το τσίμπησα και έχω βάλει επάνω:
1. Μία οθόνη Dell με HDMI (2560 x 1440, 60Hz)
2. Ένα unifying usb-dongle της Logitech για ασύρματο ποντίκι / πληκτρολόγιο (marathon mouse)
3. Ενα gigabit ethernet καλώδιο
Το έχω συνδέσει μέσω του usb-c σε ένα laptop HP (Spectre x360 15 bt-*) με Windows10 που έχει τελευταία updates. Λοιπόν, επαιξαν όλα με τη μία. Δε χρειάστηκε καν να εγκαταστήσω drivers.
Ομολογώ δε το περίμενα να παίξουν όλα plug-and-play μπάλα "απο τα αποδητήρια" αλλά χαίρομαι που για μία φορά δε ταλαιπωρήθηκα ούτε λεπτό.
Η συσκευή υπο τις συνθήκες χρήσης που περιέγραψα βγάζει ΠΟΛΥ θερμότητα - συμπέρανα πως αυτό οφείλεται κυρίως στο οτι είχα πάνω την οθόνη με το HDMI (αν αποσυνδέσω την οθόνη τότε είναι πολύ χαμηλή η θερμοκρασία του hub). Με το HDMI συνδεδεμένο όμως σχεδόν καίει το hub όταν το ακουμπάς. Ίσως καλό είναι να είναι πάνω σε μεταλλική επιφάνεια για να διαχέεται η θερμότητα. Βοηθάει επίσης που το περίβλημα του hub είναι απο μέταλλο.
Σε καμία περίπτωση μην ξεχαστείτε και το στριμώξετε κάπου στενάχωρα ενώ είναι σε λειτουργία (πχ τυλιχθεί σε κάνα ύφασμα) γιατί με τόση θερμότητα πέραν του ότι μπορεί να καεί ενδέχεται να προκαλέσει καψίματα/αναφλέξεις μετά απο κάποια ώρα.
Ταχύτητα δικτύου με τη παραπάνω διαρύθμιση:
Έχω 50/5 γραμμή VDSL. Με κανονική κάρτα δικτύου το SpeedTest.net δείχνει 46.5 down / 4.65 up. Το laptop πίανει 45.9 down / 4.59 up. Νομίζω είναι οκ λοιπόν.
(Έχω ακούσει πως για γραμμές 100/100 υπάρχουν κάπως μεγαλύτερες απώλειες και μπορεί να πέσει στο 90/9 - μένει να το τεστάρω υπο αυτές τις συνθήκες για να πω με βεβαιότητα)

Έγινε αγορά και χρήση αυτού με το Lenovo Legion Go. Πήρε λίγο μέχρι τα windows να εγκαταστήσουν το πρόγραμμα. Αλλά μετά από αυτό όλα καλά λειτουργούν στη εντέλεια
Very good. I have had it for a month. I am satisfied. As a construction, it is above average. It heats up during intense use. Its speeds are very good. Unfortunately, I haven't tried it with a mobile to have an idea.

Excellent multi-tool for MAC and others with only USB-C ports. The only downside is its increased bulk, but with so many ports, what can you do? Maybe they should provide a case with it as well. Generally, all Baseus products are high quality, smart, well-designed, and well-made with great design
Εξαιρετικό πολυεργαλείο γιά MAC και άλλα με θύρες μονο USB-C. Μόνο μειονέκτημα ο αυξημένος όγκος του αλλα με τόσα ports, τί να κάνεις? Ισως επρεπε να δου δινουν και μια θήκη μαζί του. Γενικά όλα τα προιόντα της Baseus ποιοτικά, έξυπνα, καλοσχεδιασμένα, καλοφτιαγμένα με design
Very good, everything works super smoothly etc. I just gave 4 stars because it gets very hot. Of course, it's not a problem since it doesn't touch the laptop, but I would prefer it to be more normal. Perfect connection with Mac
Πολύ καλό , δουλεύουν όλα σούπερ απροβλημάτιστα κλπ απλώς έβαλα 4 αστέρια επειδή ζεστένεται πάρα πολύ. Βέβαια δεν είναι πρόβλημα μιας και δεν ακουμπάει το λαπτοπ αλλά θα το ήθελα ποιο φυσιολογικό.
Άψογη σύνδεση με mac
A high-quality construction compatible (in parts) with Apple M1 computer, as it does not recognize brand new USB 3.1 sticks (while without the dock, the Mac recognizes them perfectly). However, it recognizes external SSD/HDD hard drives. Connecting an external HDMI monitor causes flickering issues, even with an 8K 120Hz cable (which I want for 2K 30Hz).
**I repeated speed measurements with different software than the one I initially used, and if you have drives that reach such speeds, then yes, the ports reach the advertised speed (5Gbit/s), so +1 star
Μια ποιοτική κατασκευή συμβατή (εν μέρη) με υπολογιστη Apple m1, μιας και δεν αναγνωρίζει ολοκαίνουργια USB 3.1 sticks (ενώ χωρίς το dock το Mac τα αναγνωρίζει μια χαρά). Αναγνωρίζει όμως εξωτερικους σκληρούς δίσκους SSD/HDD. Σύνδεση εξωτερικής οθόνης HDMI κάνει νούμερα flickering ακόμα και με καλώδιο 8K 120Hz (που εγώ το θέλω για 2Κ 30Hz).
**Επανέλαβα μετρήσεις ταχύτητας με άλλο software απο αυτό που χρησιμοποίησα αρχικα και εφόσον έχεις δισκους που φτανουν τετοιες ταχυτητες τοτε ναι, οι θυρες φτάνουν την ταχύτητα την οποία διαφημίζουν (5Gbit/s) οπότε +1 αστέρι
It works perfectly without heating up. The cable is a bit stiff and doesn't bend easily, so sometimes it can be a bit annoying when there is limited space.
WARNING: in order to deliver the promised power (up to 100W), it is not enough to have a charger that provides it. You also need a corresponding cable from the charger to the USB hub. Otherwise, it will display "slow charging state" on Windows
Δουλεύει άψογα χωρίς να ζεσταίνεται. το καλώδιο είναι λίγο σκληρό και δεν κάμπτεται εύκολα οπότε κάποιες φορές όταν υπάρχει περιορισμένος χώρος είναι λίγο ενοχλητικό.
ΠΡΟΣΟΧΗ: για να δώσει το ρεύμα που υπόσχεται (μέχρι 100W) δεν αρκεί απλά ένας φορτιστής που τα δίνει. χρειάζεται και ανάλογο καλώδιο από τον φορτιστή στο USB hub. Αλιως θα γράφει στα windows "slow charging state"
The only problem I had was that when connected to a second monitor and using MSTEAMS, the slide change was not working. I don't know why this was happening

In general, it offers several and a good combination of ports. Unfortunately, I encountered a very annoying problem. Because the USB-A ports it has are USB 3.0, they suffer from a known problem regarding interference with 2.4GHz wireless frequencies. So if you connect a receiver for a wireless mouse and keyboard that operates on these frequencies (like most do), you will have issues with interruptions, freezing, etc. in the input.
This is due to poor shielding of the USB 3.0, which should normally block such interference.
I don't know if it's specifically a flaw with mine or a general problem, but with a more expensive D-Link that I tried, I didn't have this issue.
Σε γενικές γραμμές προσφέρει αρκετές και καλό συνδυασμό από θύρες. Δυστυχώς εγώ αντιμετώπισα ένα πολύ ενοχλητικό πρόβλημα. Επειδή οι θύρες USB Α που έχει είναι USB 3.0, πάσχουν από γνωστό πρόβλημα σχετικά με παρεμβολές σε 2.4GHz ασύρματες συχνότητες. Έτσι αν συνδέσεις πάνω δέκτη για ασύρματο ποντίκι και πληκτρολόγιο που παίζει σε αυτές τις συχνότητες (όπως τα περισσότερα), θα έχεις θέματα με διακοπές λειτουργιών, κολλήματα κλπ στο Input.
Αυτό είναι εξαιτίας κακού shielding του USB3 που κανονικά θα έπρεπε να μπλοκάρει τέτοιου είδους παρεμβολές.
Δεν ξέρω αν είναι συγκεκριμένα ελατωμματικό το δικό μου ή γενικά το πρόβλημα, αλλά με ένα πιο ακριβό D-Link που δοκίμασα δεν είχα αυτό το πρόβλημα.
I went to buy the corresponding 6-in-1 model from Baseus, but the store informed me that there is also an 8-in-1 model, which is slightly more expensive but likely has a better chipset. I bought it and I have connected:
1. A Dell screen with HDMI (2560 x 1440, 60Hz)
2. A Logitech unifying USB dongle for wireless mouse/keyboard (marathon mouse)
3. A gigabit ethernet cable
I have connected it via USB-C to an HP laptop (Spectre x360 15 bt-*) with Windows 10 and the latest updates. Well, everything worked perfectly right away. I didn't even need to install drivers.
I have to admit that I didn't expect everything to work plug-and-play, but I'm glad that for once I didn't have any trouble.
The device generates a lot of heat under the conditions I described - I concluded that this is mainly due to the fact that I had the HDMI screen connected (if I disconnect the screen, the temperature of the hub is very low). However, with the HDMI connected, the hub almost burns when you touch it. It might be a good idea to place it on a metal surface to dissipate the heat. It also helps that the hub's casing is made of metal.
Under no circumstances should you forget and squeeze it tightly while it is in operation (e.g. wrapped in fabric) because with so much heat, it may not only burn but also cause burns or fires after a while.
Network speed with the above configuration:
I have a 50/5 VDSL line. With a regular network card, SpeedTest.net shows 46.5 down / 4.65 up. The laptop reaches 45.9 down / 4.59 up. So, I think it's okay.
(I have heard that for 100/100 lines, there are slightly greater losses and it may drop to 90/9 - I need to test it under these conditions to say for sure)
Regarding the laptop charging, I have read that this hub can achieve it if someone separately purchases a data cable (I haven't exactly understood what kind of charging cable it is) that goes into the TypeC(PD) port (it is next to the HDMI port on the left). I assume it should be a cable like this (but I may be wrong):

Πήγα να αγοράσω το αντίστοιχο 6-in-1 μοντέλο της Baseus αλλά το κατάστημα με ενημέρωσε πως υπάρχει και αυτό που είναι 8-in-1 το οποίο είναι ελαφρώς πιο ακριβό αλλά κατά πάσα πιθανότητα έχει καλύτερο chipset. Το τσίμπησα και έχω βάλει επάνω:
1. Μία οθόνη Dell με HDMI (2560 x 1440, 60Hz)
2. Ένα unifying usb-dongle της Logitech για ασύρματο ποντίκι / πληκτρολόγιο (marathon mouse)
3. Ενα gigabit ethernet καλώδιο
Το έχω συνδέσει μέσω του usb-c σε ένα laptop HP (Spectre x360 15 bt-*) με Windows10 που έχει τελευταία updates. Λοιπόν, επαιξαν όλα με τη μία. Δε χρειάστηκε καν να εγκαταστήσω drivers.
Ομολογώ δε το περίμενα να παίξουν όλα plug-and-play μπάλα "απο τα αποδητήρια" αλλά χαίρομαι που για μία φορά δε ταλαιπωρήθηκα ούτε λεπτό.
Η συσκευή υπο τις συνθήκες χρήσης που περιέγραψα βγάζει ΠΟΛΥ θερμότητα - συμπέρανα πως αυτό οφείλεται κυρίως στο οτι είχα πάνω την οθόνη με το HDMI (αν αποσυνδέσω την οθόνη τότε είναι πολύ χαμηλή η θερμοκρασία του hub). Με το HDMI συνδεδεμένο όμως σχεδόν καίει το hub όταν το ακουμπάς. Ίσως καλό είναι να είναι πάνω σε μεταλλική επιφάνεια για να διαχέεται η θερμότητα. Βοηθάει επίσης που το περίβλημα του hub είναι απο μέταλλο.
Σε καμία περίπτωση μην ξεχαστείτε και το στριμώξετε κάπου στενάχωρα ενώ είναι σε λειτουργία (πχ τυλιχθεί σε κάνα ύφασμα) γιατί με τόση θερμότητα πέραν του ότι μπορεί να καεί ενδέχεται να προκαλέσει καψίματα/αναφλέξεις μετά απο κάποια ώρα.
Ταχύτητα δικτύου με τη παραπάνω διαρύθμιση:
Έχω 50/5 γραμμή VDSL. Με κανονική κάρτα δικτύου το SpeedTest.net δείχνει 46.5 down / 4.65 up. Το laptop πίανει 45.9 down / 4.59 up. Νομίζω είναι οκ λοιπόν.

Είναι πραγματικά πολύ καλό προϊόν, έχω συνδέσει πάνω τον φορτιστή του λάπτοπ, HDMI, ποντίκι και πληκτρολόγιο και απλά το συνδέω με το λάπτοπ το εταιρικό ή το προσωπικό.

On a MacBook M2 and Huawei MateBook 14 it works just fine without interruptions. It works for 8 hours straight and with PowerDelivery and it's just fine
