It is certainly not exhaustive, but it provides the foundations and directions for someone who wants to delve deeper. In fact, the same methodology (2D drawing—3D object—Assembly—Object interaction—Movement) is applied in all modern parametric design programs, likely with different names for the commands, but always with the same philosophy. Therefore, using this book does not limit the new designer to using FreeCAD. On the contrary, it enables them to gain the basic knowledge of parametric design without any financial risk—since FreeCAD is free—and then expand into more advanced techniques, whether with FreeCAD or any other software.
