Feminism Without Borders opens with the radical critique of Western feminism by Chandra Talpade Mohanty and closes with an updating of this critique concerning some of the most critical issues faced by contemporary feminism; an update that is based on how the author perceives the importance of gender within racial, class, and national formations of globalization, urging the connection of transnational feminist action with anti-capitalist and anti-racist struggles.
