Reliable controller, Delock implementations are always compatible with the chipset specifications it installs, unlike the majority of cheap controllers on the market.
    2. This specific one uses the Asmedia 1064 chipset, known for its wide compatibility, reliable operation, and decent but not top-notch performance, offering 4 ports.
    3. My motherboard already has the integrated Asmedia 1062 with 2 ports and there are no issues in using them together, as they function directly without the need for specialized drivers.
    4. Neither of the two controllers appears with their factory name in "Device Manager" and I haven't tried installing a newer driver, as all the drives are already recognized normally and provide SMART information to the system.

It works flawlessly. Highly recommend it. Controllers in general have many issues and compatibility problems, so you might get one that is not recognized by your computer, like what happened to me with the following controller (in the Link I provided) from the same company, which never worked and caused me trouble for many days, ultimately losing 50 euros.

Topics with Linux in a server environment. The disks disconnect randomly. Currently, after trying different combinations of disks and motherboards, it is working. From what I searched on the internet, it seems that the Marvell chip on it is probably to blame because it does not have good Linux support.

I installed a DELOCK 90010 card (which provides 4x SATA connections) in a PCI-e x1 v.3.0 slot on the Asus Prime H570-PLUS motherboard, which has an I5-10600K processor and runs on Windows 10 Pro. The card is based on the Asmedia ASM1064 chipset and supports PCI-e x1 v.3.0 (unlike several similar cards that only support up to PCI-e x1 v.2.0). In order for Windows 10 to recognize the card under "Storage Controllers" in Device Manager, I also installed the card's driver in version "Asmedia 106x v3.3.5.0", which is the latest available version as far as I could find. This particular driver also works for Asmedia 116x. The result was that the Windows Explorer recognized both "WD Black 1TB" HDDs that I connected to the card. Hard Disk Sentinel showed 100% Performance and 100% Health for both drives.
Note that the card's packaging includes an alternative low-profile metal bracket.
P.S.: The strange thing was that if I didn't install the aforementioned driver, the card wouldn't appear under "Storage Controllers". Version v3.3.5.0 claims to fix the recognition issue by Windows 10.

It does the job if there are not enough SATA PORTs on the motherboard.
