I read it sometimes, always with my phone and the app, now the app has been updated and it says it's a fake elm32 etc. etc. and it doesn't work... at first ok, in five minutes I found the 'special' settings, it was nothing... sometimes it worked right away, other times not, the lambda sensor, the second one, I found it to be useless and some others... I also cleared errors once or twice to see what would happen and that was it, now let's go for a proper one...

Having purchased 2 other identical OBDs, this one works whenever it wants. You have to take it out and put it in the port 15 times for it to work. I tried 3-4 different cars and 2 different phones, always with the same result; maybe I got a defective product.

However, when it connects, it works as it should

Let's talk about the positives: If you want to see faults that you don't trust someone else to point out for your own reasons, I think you've found your tool. It requires SPECIAL SETTINGS for the wifi, because the computer doesn't simply grant access for connection with anything. There are programs to install that recognize it, and other consumers have pointed them out in the comments, I'm not gray-marketing.

Now for the negatives: The SPECIAL SETTINGS I mentioned above. You need to do some searching on YouTube to see what's going on and how, but you only do this once for however many cars you run it on. The applications you can work with may not be found "easily." It requires searching and it takes time.

But for €6 that I paid, the search is worth it. It has saved me from faults that I can solve myself and provide a fault code so that the corresponding shops can find me the spare part.

The worst thing that exists, the app is terrible. Every time you make a selection, it shows ads and freezes a lot. It doesn't even have a scan feature, you have to manually enter the codes to find out if it's just for garbage

It didn't work even once.
The recommended application was not installed either.

Mazda - Samsung

For the model that connects with WiFi (not the basic one with Bluetooth) purchased in 2021:
It works correctly! It connects a bit slowly depending on the mobile and WiFi settings (security!). It reads faults and live data and intervenes in whatever the respective program allows (free or paid).
For Android, tested FREE Apps: MotorData OBD, OBD Auto Doctor, inCarDoc, Car Scanner.
Be patient, set up the apps correctly, adjust the WiFi security, and you will do all the basics without paying much and you will have a small and cheap tool everywhere.

I didn't even have the chance to connect it to an app that works.
It doesn't connect to the phone anymore.

In a golf mk6, one connects and one does not connect, when connected it cannot read enough data and displays a message that it is defective.
It was tested with both iPhone and Android and the result is the same. I will try to make a change in case it is indeed defective.

I tried to connect it with both iOS and Android with five different applications. No result. I recommend not trusting it and searching for something better.

Perfect. I connected it to my car's screen, downloaded the Torque Pro app, and it displays all the icons I want on the main screen

Dangerous and useless. Besides not finding anything, it completely disrupts the car's electrical system if connected with the engine running.

I return with another review after using the obd once again....it's completely useless now.... chaos. Get something else. Forget about wifi and smart features. Give something more and get something with a cable, and that's it.

Indeed, the product does what it promises. Surely, I wouldn't compare it to the equivalent ones in the professional sector, but it is enough to have at least a percentage of peace of mind regarding potential errors that may occur in the car.
