Mercola Bondflex 450 FC Marine polyurethane sealant is designed for elastic sealing and bonding in marine, metal, construction and general applications. It can be used above and below the waterline and adheres to common marine substrates such as wood, metal, gelcoat, GRP, ceramics and painted surfaces. It does not sag during application, cures at a rate of 4 mm/24 h and can be painted once dry.
It withstands fresh and salt water, alkalis, weathering, ageing and various chemicals. It has low VOC emissions, a low isocyanate content and a low odour. Suitability must be tested before applying it to alkyd paints. It is not suitable for PVC, Plexiglass, polycarbonate sheets or glass panes.
