K2 grey sealant silicone withstands temperatures of up to +350 °C and is used to seal components in cars, motorcycles and agricultural machinery. It is resistant to oils, greases and operating fluids, while its Sensor Safe formula is safe for oxygen sensors in modern cars with electronic fuel injection. It replaces traditional cork, paper, felt, asbestos and rubber gaskets.
Suitable for valve covers, thermostat gaskets, oil pans, camshaft covers, water pumps and rear axle covers. Includes a plastic tapered cap for precise application. Before use, the surface must be dry and free of dust, dirt, grease and old sealant residue. Apply a small amount with a knife moistened with soapy water and remove any excess. It begins to dry after 5 minutes, is touch-dry after 1 hour and fully cures after 24 hours. Remove excess cured sealant with a sharp tool and close the tube after each use.
