Mercola Gasket Seal is a one-component, elastic black silicone sealant suitable for sealing applications exposed to high temperatures. It withstands temperatures of up to 300 °C, with occasional resistance up to 305 °C, while retaining its elasticity.
It is used to seal flanges and gaskets between metal components, in pumps and machinery, and in heating systems and household electrical appliances. Application surfaces must be dry and free of dust and grease. No primer is required on non-porous surfaces. The finished surface can be smoothed with soapy water before the sealant dries. Not suitable for PVC, PE, PP, PTFE or bituminous surfaces.
