Hallux Valgus Separator and Protector 0072
Silicone separating and protective pad for cases of bunions. Even in cases of significant displacement of the big toe, designed like a glove, it balances the alignment of the toes, facilitates walking, and at the same time protects the bunion by hugging it with silicone (preventing inflammation). It can be worn at night as well.
- Reduces friction and irritation caused by the "crossing" of the toes in cases of displacement.
- Deformations due to calluses of the big toe (bunion).

General toe and bunion problems:
- The "bunion," or "Hallux Valgus," is a bony bump at the base of the big toe that causes this toe to shift toward the others. This disrupts the alignment of the toes and results in pain due to pressure or arthritis, and can also create a callus. Treatment methods include pain relievers, special protective pads, and special shoe inserts. It is also recommended to choose roomy and comfortable shoes and to avoid high heels.
- Friction causes the hardening and thickening of dead skin to protect the site. Calluses, depending on their type, can be cone-shaped and appear in areas that do not bear much body weight or have a hard texture and appear anywhere friction occurs. Calluses typically form due to improper shoes with a poor fit and often smooth out when the intense friction stops.
- When the muscles of the toes do not balance properly, painful problems can occur. While some people are predisposed to hammertoe, it is often caused by inappropriate, very tight shoes. Hammertoe is the displacement of the middle joint of the toe downward, and the toes appear raised at the point near the foot. In most cases, the problem improves with the right shoes and with special insoles and pads.
