I bought the first pair of scissors before 2010 and I had it in my hunting bag to cut ropes, twigs, cotton, etc. to find the game when it fell into branches, when I went hunting. With the same scissors, I pruned vines and olive trees, using my father's scissors. After the fire in northern burned Evia, where I come from, apart from vines (which is easy), olives, wild cherry trees, walnut trees, almond trees, even dried flowers (I am not a farmer). Last weekend, I lost the latch and the spring (from a pair of scissors) that keep it closed. The replacement cost 7.5€ and I also bought a new one for 36€ from an online store. It requires a little skill when sharpening it (I use an aluminum oxide stone that the store gave me when I bought the first pair of scissors, but I also found it later at fairs for 1€). Now I am thinking of using a little epoxy glue on the new one and the other one when I replace the spring, to secure it and prevent the spring from flying off again. (If anyone has a better idea, please let us know. Not thermal bonding) The company should look into this. It has spare parts, but next time I will prefer to buy a new one. I consider them cost-effective. I highly recommend it.

Scissors for a lifetime. I have been using it for 20 years. Every two years I sharpen its blade and every 7-8 years I replace it. Always the original and no problem, I prune vineyards, lemon trees, orange trees, everything.
