Durostick No. 36 wood glue is a white, general-purpose vinyl-based adhesive for bonding softwoods together, such as particleboard and MDF, as well as cork, drywall, polystyrene foam and cardboard. It is thick, elastic, and resistant to vibration and impact. It can also be used on large surfaces, such as pressed door and window frames and melamine-faced particleboard, as well as for bonding the sides of cardboard boxes.
The adhesive is classified as D1 according to EN 12004. Apply with a brush or roller, spreading it evenly over both surfaces, which must be clean and dry. For large surfaces, it can be diluted with up to 5% water. Bring the parts to be bonded into contact within 5–10 minutes and press them together for 4–8 hours. The surfaces can be subjected to stress after 24 hours. Application below +8 °C is not recommended; while the adhesive is still wet, the temperature must not fall below +4 °C. Clean wet residue with a damp cloth or sponge.
