The GX1300e is a Class D DSC VHF receiver with 70 separate channels. When the DSC DISTRESS function is activated, the device transmits a digital MAYDAY distress signal, which contains the vessel’s identity, its position in longitude/latitude, and the time (if connected to GPS).
