Mercola Brush Sealant is an elastomeric, thixotropic seam sealer applied with a brush to cover joints and seams on car bodies, boats, caravans and prefabricated homes. It is waterproof, remains flexible and can be painted with most paints. It can be used as a waterproofing coating or as a gasket between metal surfaces to dampen vibration noise.
Apply to clean surfaces free of dust and grease. When used as an adhesive or gasket, spread a 3 mm layer on both surfaces; after allowing 10–15 minutes for the solvent to evaporate, bring the surfaces together with light pressure. Thin and clean with nitro thinner.
