While the double arm of the base is quite sturdy and seems to withstand the weight, the base plate that screws onto the TV and especially the central screw connecting it to the arm is a joke, and the metal that the screw catches onto is quite soft and easily bends. As a result, the TV in the end is not stable in the center and moves easily and irregularly as if it is not tightened properly. I combined the double arm with my old base plate that had a single arm and it did the job for me.
