The Laowa T2.9 Zero-D Cine is a 9 mm prime lens designed for cameras with a Micro Four Thirds (MFT) mount. Its wide-angle design offers a 113° angle of view, while its optical design helps minimize distortion. The T/2.9 aperture and manual focus make it suitable for architectural, landscape, and astrophotography, as well as gimbal-mounted video recording.
The construction includes three low-dispersion elements to minimize chromatic aberrations and two aspherical elements to reduce circular distortion and increase sharpness. The aperture and focus rings feature 0.8 mod gears, and aperture control is silent. The front optical elements feature a Frog Eye coating for protection against water and dust.
