For a 4G modem I consider it decent.
Positives:
Easy to use
With the latest update, it finally has the ability to handle text messages, but only by accessing the menu settings from a mobile or computer (something that still does not exist in the app settings)
It has a phone port, which means you can connect a wired or wireless landline phone and make calls through the mobile SIM you have put in the modem.
Negatives:
Sometimes it gives me the impression that it might freeze a bit on the internet and then recover.
As for the use of the landline phone, something I have researched quite a bit on the internet and read everywhere and also experience myself without being able to find a solution, is that the person you call gets an echo, meaning they hear themselves

Hesitant at first. I tried with a VODAFONE card and connection with an ethernet cable. The speeds I got were low (35Mbps DOWN and 30 Mbps UP while on mobile 5G I had over 100 Mbps). I intended to operate it with FROG (COSMOTE). What I got from the card change is beyond expectations. The only issue is that I can't operate the phone simultaneously (with Frog). With VODAFONE, VoLTE worked. If a cheap unlimited mobile plan is found (I caught FROG at 13 a month), it is the solution for every provider. Also, it is stable and I have no disconnections. PERFECT!!!

I used it in a photovoltaic park in the countryside of Imathia. It serves 4 inverters, sending data to the house through a related application. It operates quickly and steadily in adverse conditions compared to the conditions of a house (it is placed in a box in an outdoor area with London humidity). However, the most impressive thing is the range of transmission. The furthest inverter is located 300 meters away, and I have 2 wifi signal bars on my mobile phone. The SIM card is from Cosmote because the closest antenna within a straight line of 2.5-3 km belongs to OTE. I don't have much networking knowledge, so you understand that its installation is easy and trouble-free. This network has been operational since July 2023.

Το πιο απομακρυσμενο inverter βρισκεται σε αποσταση 300 μετρων,και με το κινητο εχω 2γραμμες σημα wifi. Η καρτα sim ειναι της κοσμοτε γιατι η πιο κοντινη κεραια σε ευθεια 2,5-3χλμ ειναι του οτε.Δεν εχω ιδιετερες γνωσεις δικτυακες οποτε καταλαβαινετε οτι η εγκατασταση του ειναι ευκολη,και απροβληματιστη. Το δικτυο αυτο ειναι σε λειτουργια απο τον Ιουλιο του ¨23.
Installation of this specific router in a country house in a village in Thessaly with a sim card from a well-known red company. Signal 3/3 4G 2/3 4G+ exceeded my expectations. Average speed of 50 mb/s with a minimum of 25-30 (4G) and a maximum of 75 (4G+). Definitely worth it!!

Compared to the TPLINK TL-MR6500V, the TENDA 4G06 is superior. It immediately detected the Nova and Vodafone SIM cards. But its strong point is the signal. While the TPLINK had no signal in certain areas, the Tenda has 2 bars out of 3 with 4G speed. Where the TPLINK had one bar of signal, this one has full signal. You cannot choose the band for 4G like you can with TPLINK, but it has much better locking on frequencies and signal.
Σε σχεση με το TPLINK TL-MR6500V το TENDA 4G06 ειναι ανωτερο.Ειδε αμεσα την καρτα της Nova και της Vodafone.Αλλα το δυνατο του σημειο ειναι το σημα.Με το TPLINK σε χωρο που δεν ειχε καθολου σημα, το Tenda εχει 2 γραμμες στις 3 με ταχυτητα 4G,Εκει που το TPLINK ειχε μια γραμμη σημα αυτο εχει full σημα.Δεν μπορεις να επιλεξεις μπαντα για το 4G οπως κανεις στο Tplink αλλα εχει πολυ καλυτερο κλειδωμα στις συνχοτητες και στο σημα.
I bought 3 pieces. I manually set the APN. I loaded 3 sims with data and started using them. Internet was not working at all on 2 of them. Along the way, they started working for a few days, but then one after the other, they stopped. It goes without saying that the settings are fine. I wasted my money and especially considering the time I spent trying to fix them, I ended up losing. Stay away, guys
Αγόρασα 3 τεμάχια. Ρύθμισα το APN χειροκίνητα. Φόρτισα 3 sim με δεδομένα και ξεκίνησα να τα λειτουργώ. Στα 2 δεν λειτουργούσε το ιντερνετ καθόλου. Στη πορεία μου έκαναν τη τιμή να λειτουργήσουν αλλά για λίγες μέρες, όπου το ένα μετά το άλλο σταμάτησαν. Εννοείται ότι οι θυθμίσεις είναι εντάξει. Πέταξα τα λεφτά μου και κυρίως αν υπολογίσω το χρόνο μου να παλεύω να τα φτιάξω, μπήκα μέσα με τα τσαρούχια. Μακρυά παιδιά

After a detailed research, I decided to purchase this specific 4G router, so that I can have at least minimal mobile internet speed in the provincial town where I need it, and then add a suitable antenna/antennas for even better reception.
It proved to be much better than my expectations. It captures 2/3 to 3/3 4G signal and speeds up to 50+ Mbps upstream, while with a modern 4G mobile I struggle between 2G and 3G. And without an additional antenna.
As for the initial setup, the automatic SIM unlocking and the stability of operation, I have no words.
The logic behind choosing this type of router was to use it instead of a fixed DSL connection for economic reasons, while there is an available 4G connection and satisfactory packages.
A note: The theoretical communication speed at a specific router placement point is of course greatly affected by high network traffic during peak hours, such as August 15th in tourist areas.
Κατόπιν λεπτομερούς έρευνας, αποφάσισα να αγοράσω το συγκεκριμένο 4G router, ώστε να μπορώ σε πρώτη φάση να έχω έστω και ελάχιστη ταχύτητα mobile internet, στην επαρχιακή πόλη όπου το χρειάζομαι, και σε 2η φάση να προσθέσω κατάλληλη κεραία / κεραίες, για ακόμα καλύτερη λήψη.
Αποδείχτηκε πολύ ανώτερο των προσδοκιών μου. Πιάνει 2/3 έως 3/3 σήμα 4G και ταχύτητες έως 50+ Mbps upstream, εκεί που με σύγχρονο 4G κινητό παλεύω μεταξύ 2G και 3G. Και χωρίς πρόσθετη κεραία.
Όσο για την αρχική ρύθμιση, το αυτόματο ξεκλείδωμα της sim και τη σταθερότητα λειτουργίας, δεν έχω λόγια.
Η λογική για την επιλογή αυτού του τύπου router ήταν να χρησιμοποιηθεί αντί για σταθερή σύνδεση τύπου DSL και για οικονομικούς λόγους, τη στιγμή που υπάρχει διαθέσιμη σύνδεση 4G και ικανοποιητικά πακέτα.
Μια σημείωση: Η θεωρητική ταχύτητα επικοινωνίας σε συγκεκριμένο σημείο τοποθέτησης του router, φυσικά επηρεάζεται πολύ από το υψηλό network traffic σε ώρες αιχμής, βλέπε 15αυγουστο σε τουριστικές περιοχές.

No problem, I have tried it with both Vodafone and Cosmote sim cards. The only thing you need to do is to access it better from a PC (there is also an application that works perfectly on mobile) and set the APN settings to "internet". It would be good to have the SIM card without a PIN. If I see anything negative, I will revert back to the positives and use the built-in VPN.
Κανενα προβλημα το χω δοκιμασει και με καρτα vodafone και cosmote το μονο που πρεπει να κανετε να μπειτε καλυτερα απο pc ( υπαρχει εφαρμογη και απο κινητο δουλευει αψογα) και να βαλετε στις ρυθμισεις του apn internet .
Καλο θα ηταν να εχετε χωρις pin την καρτα sim . Αν δω κατι αρνητικο θα επανελθω στα + και με ενσωματωμενο vpn.

Το χρησιμοποιησα σε φωτοβολταικο παρκο μεσα στον καμπο της Ημαθιας.Εξυπηρετει 4 inverter στελνοντας δεδομενα στο σπιτι μεσω σχετικης εφαρμογης.Γρηγορο και σταθερο λειτουργει σε αντιξοες συνθηκες σε σχεση με τις συνθηκες ενος σπιτιου,(εναι τοποθετημενο σε κουτι σε εξωτερικο χωρο με υγρασια Λονδινου). το εντυποσιακοτερο ομως ειναι η εμβελεια εκπομπης. Το πιο απομακρυσμενο inverter βρισκεται σε αποσταση 300 μετρων,και με το κινητο εχω 2γραμμες σημα wifi. Η καρτα sim ειναι της κοσμοτε γιατι η πιο κοντινη κεραια σε ευθεια 2,5-3χλμ ειναι του οτε.Δεν εχω ιδιετερες γνωσεις δικτυακες οποτε καταλαβαινετε οτι η εγκατασταση του ειναι ευκολη,και απροβληματιστη. Το δικτυο αυτο ειναι σε λειτουργια απο τον Ιουλιο του ¨23.
Installation of this specific router in a country house in a village in Thessaly with a sim card from a well-known red company. Signal 3/3 4G 2/3 4G+ exceeded my expectations. Average speed of 50 mb/s with a minimum of 25-30 (4G) and a maximum of 75 (4G+). Definitely worth it!!
P.S. Same signal as mobile, better on 4G+
Εγκατάσταση του συγκεκριμένου ρούτερ σε εξοχική κατοικία σε χωριό της Θεσσαλίας με καρτα sim γνωστής κόκκινης εταιρείας. Σημα 3/3 4G 2/3 4G+ ξεπέρασε τις προσδοκίες μου. Ταχύτητα Μ.Ο 50 mb/s με ελάχιστη 25-30(4G) μέγιστη 75(4G+). Αξίζει σίγουρα!!

Compared to the TPLINK TL-MR6500V, the TENDA 4G06 is superior. It immediately detected the Nova and Vodafone SIM cards. But its strong point is the signal. While the TPLINK had no signal in certain areas, the Tenda has 2 bars out of 3 with 4G speed. Where the TPLINK had one bar of signal, this one has full signal. You cannot choose the band for 4G like you can with TPLINK, but it has much better locking on frequencies and signal.
Σε σχεση με το TPLINK TL-MR6500V το TENDA 4G06 ειναι ανωτερο.Ειδε αμεσα την καρτα της Nova και της Vodafone.Αλλα το δυνατο του σημειο ειναι το σημα.Με το TPLINK σε χωρο που δεν ειχε καθολου σημα, το Tenda εχει 2 γραμμες στις 3 με ταχυτητα 4G,Εκει που το TPLINK ειχε μια γραμμη σημα αυτο εχει full σημα.Δεν μπορεις να επιλεξεις μπαντα για το 4G οπως κανεις στο Tplink αλλα εχει πολυ καλυτερο κλειδωμα στις συνχοτητες και στο σημα.
I bought 3 pieces. I manually set the APN. I loaded 3 sims with data and started using them. Internet was not working at all on 2 of them. Along the way, they started working for a few days, but then one after the other, they stopped. It goes without saying that the settings are fine. I wasted my money and especially considering the time I spent trying to fix them, I ended up losing. Stay away, guys
Αγόρασα 3 τεμάχια. Ρύθμισα το APN χειροκίνητα. Φόρτισα 3 sim με δεδομένα και ξεκίνησα να τα λειτουργώ. Στα 2 δεν λειτουργούσε το ιντερνετ καθόλου. Στη πορεία μου έκαναν τη τιμή να λειτουργήσουν αλλά για λίγες μέρες, όπου το ένα μετά το άλλο σταμάτησαν. Εννοείται ότι οι θυθμίσεις είναι εντάξει. Πέταξα τα λεφτά μου και κυρίως αν υπολογίσω το χρόνο μου να παλεύω να τα φτιάξω, μπήκα μέσα με τα τσαρούχια. Μακρυά παιδιά

After a detailed research, I decided to purchase this specific 4G router, so that I can have at least minimal mobile internet speed in the provincial town where I need it, and then add a suitable antenna/antennas for even better reception.
It proved to be much better than my expectations. It captures 2/3 to 3/3 4G signal and speeds up to 50+ Mbps upstream, while with a modern 4G mobile I struggle between 2G and 3G. And without an additional antenna.
As for the initial setup, the automatic SIM unlocking and the stability of operation, I have no words.
The logic behind choosing this type of router was to use it instead of a fixed DSL connection for economic reasons, while there is an available 4G connection and satisfactory packages.
A note: The theoretical communication speed at a specific router placement point is of course greatly affected by high network traffic during peak hours, such as August 15th in tourist areas.
Κατόπιν λεπτομερούς έρευνας, αποφάσισα να αγοράσω το συγκεκριμένο 4G router, ώστε να μπορώ σε πρώτη φάση να έχω έστω και ελάχιστη ταχύτητα mobile internet, στην επαρχιακή πόλη όπου το χρειάζομαι, και σε 2η φάση να προσθέσω κατάλληλη κεραία / κεραίες, για ακόμα καλύτερη λήψη.
Αποδείχτηκε πολύ ανώτερο των προσδοκιών μου. Πιάνει 2/3 έως 3/3 σήμα 4G και ταχύτητες έως 50+ Mbps upstream, εκεί που με σύγχρονο 4G κινητό παλεύω μεταξύ 2G και 3G. Και χωρίς πρόσθετη κεραία.
Όσο για την αρχική ρύθμιση, το αυτόματο ξεκλείδωμα της sim και τη σταθερότητα λειτουργίας, δεν έχω λόγια.
Η λογική για την επιλογή αυτού του τύπου router ήταν να χρησιμοποιηθεί αντί για σταθερή σύνδεση τύπου DSL και για οικονομικούς λόγους, τη στιγμή που υπάρχει διαθέσιμη σύνδεση 4G και ικανοποιητικά πακέτα.
Μια σημείωση: Η θεωρητική ταχύτητα επικοινωνίας σε συγκεκριμένο σημείο τοποθέτησης του router, φυσικά επηρεάζεται πολύ από το υψηλό network traffic σε ώρες αιχμής, βλέπε 15αυγουστο σε τουριστικές περιοχές.
It is a very good solution to have internet and phone in your summer house with a simple card without getting involved with contracts, etc

No problem, I have tried it with both Vodafone and Cosmote sim cards. The only thing you need to do is to access it better from a PC (there is also an application that works perfectly on mobile) and set the APN settings to "internet". It would be good to have the SIM card without a PIN. If I see anything negative, I will revert back to the positives and use the built-in VPN.
Κανενα προβλημα το χω δοκιμασει και με καρτα vodafone και cosmote το μονο που πρεπει να κανετε να μπειτε καλυτερα απο pc ( υπαρχει εφαρμογη και απο κινητο δουλευει αψογα) και να βαλετε στις ρυθμισεις του apn internet .
Καλο θα ηταν να εχετε χωρις pin την καρτα sim . Αν δω κατι αρνητικο θα επανελθω στα + και με ενσωματωμενο vpn.
I changed my review as lately I have been using it more.
For a 4G modem I consider it decent.
Positives:
Easy to use
With the latest update, it finally has the ability to handle text messages, but only by accessing the menu settings from a mobile or computer (something that still does not exist in the app settings)
It has a phone port, which means you can connect a wired or wireless landline phone and make calls through the mobile SIM you have put in the modem.
Negatives:
Sometimes it gives me the impression that it might freeze a bit on the internet and then recover.
As for the use of the landline phone, something I have researched quite a bit on the internet and read everywhere and also experience myself without being able to find a solution, is that the person you call gets an echo, meaning they hear themselves

με την τελευταία αναβάθμιση έχει επιτέλους τη δυνατότητα να χειριστεί κανείς γραπτά μηνύματα μπαίνοντας όμως από κινητό ή υπολογιστή στις ρυθμίσεις του μενού (κάτι που ακόμα δεν υπάρχει στις ρυθμίσεις δηλαδή της εφαρμογής)
έχει θύρα τηλεφώνου που σημαίνει ότι μπορείς να συνδέσεις ενσύρματο ή ασύρματο σταθερό τηλέφωνο και να κάνεις κλήσεις μέσω του κινητού που έχεις βάλει στο modem

Hesitant at first. I tried with a VODAFONE card and connection with an ethernet cable. The speeds I got were low (35Mbps DOWN and 30 Mbps UP while on mobile 5G I had over 100 Mbps). I intended to operate it with FROG (COSMOTE). What I got from the card change is beyond expectations. The only issue is that I can't operate the phone simultaneously (with Frog). With VODAFONE, VoLTE worked. If a cheap unlimited mobile plan is found (I caught FROG at 13 a month), it is the solution for every provider. Also, it is stable and I have no disconnections. PERFECT!!!
Διστακτηκος στην αρχη. Δοκιμασα με VODAFONE καρτα και συνδεση με ethernet καλλωδιο. Οι ταχυτητες που πηρα ηταν χαμηλες (35Mbps DOWN και 30 Mbps UP ενω στο κινητο 5G ειχα πανω απο 100 Mbps). Ειχα σκοπο να το λειτουργησω με FROG (COSMOTE) . Αυτο που πηρα απο την αλλγη καρτας ειναι περαν των προσδοκιων. Το μονο θεμα ειναι οτι δεν μπορω να λειτουργησω ταυτοχρονα τηλεφωνο (με Frog). Με VODAFONE δουλεψε το volte. Αν βρεθει φθηνο απεριοριστα κινητη (προλαβα FROG με 13 τον μηνα) ειναι η λυση στον καθε παροχο. Επισης ειναι σταθερο και δεν εχω αποσυνδεσεις .ΤΕΛΕΙΟ!!!
I used it in a photovoltaic park in the countryside of Imathia. It serves 4 inverters, sending data to the house through a related application. It operates quickly and steadily in adverse conditions compared to the conditions of a house (it is placed in a box in an outdoor area with London humidity). However, the most impressive thing is the range of transmission. The furthest inverter is located 300 meters away, and I have 2 wifi signal bars on my mobile phone. The SIM card is from Cosmote because the closest antenna within a straight line of 2.5-3 km belongs to OTE. I don't have much networking knowledge, so you understand that its installation is easy and trouble-free. This network has been operational since July 2023.
