Description

Description

The result of many years of involvement and "youthful" love, this book is simultaneously a study, a challenge, and an open invitation.

A study, because it attempts for the first time in modern Greek literature to subsume supernatural horror films under the epistemological requirements of religious studies, and to make it clear that this research can be extremely fruitful for Christian theology.

A challenge, because it aspires to show that supernatural horror films have a lot to teach us about both the nature and origin of Evil, as well as our relationship with the people and objects of this world.

And finally... An open invitation to a discussion about God, the Church, Religion, and the spiritual world, which has the courage not to draw from lofty theological texts and cultural artifacts of the distant past, but from the mirror of its time: popular culture and cinematic spectacle.
