The APC Smart-UPS X 1500 (SMX1500RMI2U) provides advanced power protection for critical IT equipment, telecommunications systems and servers. With 1200W of power and a pure sine wave output, it ensures full compatibility with modern active PFC power supplies. Its line-interactive topology features automatic voltage regulation (AVR), correcting undervoltages and overvoltages without unnecessarily using the batteries. The flexible 2U rack/tower design allows for easy integration into data cabinets or standalone placement in the workplace. It features 8 IEC C13 output outlets, hot-swappable batteries and a SmartSlot for management cards.

Line-Interactive Topology with Automatic AVR Regulation

The UPS delivers 1500VA / 1200W at 230V, providing a pure sine wave output for maximum protection of sensitive circuits. Its built-in AVR (Automatic Voltage Regulation) stabilizes mains fluctuations across a wide input range of 151V to 302V without using battery power. Its energy efficiency reaches 98.5%, reducing heat generation, while it provides 645 Joules of surge protection and an EPO emergency power-off function.

VRLA Battery Backup Time & Hot-Swap Capability

It is equipped with a sealed VRLA lead-acid battery with a capacity of 311 VAh, providing a backup runtime of 5.8 minutes at full load and 17.2 minutes at half load. It supports safe hot-swappable battery replacement during operation without interrupting the power supply, as well as cold-start operation. The internal mechanism fully recharges the battery in 3 hours while also performing automatic preventive checks of its condition.

Flexible Rack/Tower Design & Full Connectivity

The convertible Rack/Tower 2U design comes with a complete rack-mount kit and operates quietly at 40 dB. The rear panel features 8 IEC C13 outlets and 2 IEC jumpers, with a C14 input connector. For local and remote management, the unit includes a USB port, an RS-232 serial interface, communication status LEDs, audible alarms, and a SmartSlot for installing additional network management cards.
